Rt.com-ը գրում է, որ  Ասիայում  լողացող արևային ֆերմաների ժողովրդականության արագ աճից հետո դրանք վերելք են ապրում նաև ԱՄՆ-ում: Ինչպես հայտնում է NTD հրատարակությունը դրանք գրավիչ են ոչ միայն իրենց մաքուր էներգիայով և գետնի վրա հետքերի բացակայությամբ, այլ նաև այն պատճառով, որ կանխելով գոլորշիացումը խնայում են ջուրը։
