Հետևելով երեկ Եռաբլուրում տեղի ունեցածին՝ ես ուղղակի գարշանք էի ապրում, հերթական անգամ ծաղրի առարկա դարձանք ամբողջ աշխարհի առջև։ Այս մասին այսօր Եռաբլուրում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Միքայել Համբարձումյանն՝ անդրադառնալով Երեկ Եռաբլուորում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձություններին։ 

Անդրադառնալով իր հրաժարականի պատճառներին՝ Միքայել Համբարձումյանն ասաց․ «Ես չեմ ուզում հիմա անդրադառնալ իմ հրաժարականի պատճառներին, միայն կարող եմ ասել, որ նախատեսում եմ առաջիկայում ասուլիս տալ, իհարկե ձեռնպահ եմ մնալու նեղ անձնական խոսակցությունները կամ հանգամանքները ներկայացնելուց, որովհետև ես այն կարծիքին եմ, որ անվտանգության ծառայության աշխատակիցը չպետք է ներկայացնի այն տեղեկությունը, որն իրեն հասու է դարձել ծառայողական պարտականություններն իրականացնելիս։ Իսկ այն հարցերը, որոնք վերաբերվում են մեր երկրի անվտանգությանը և որոնց մեջ ես սպառնալիք եմ տեսել՝ այդ հանգամանքների մասին ես անպայման կխոսեմ»։

Հարցին, թե ստացե՞լ է ապօրինի հանձնարարություններ, որը հրաժարվել է կատարել, Համբարձումյանը պատասխանեց․ «Այո, եղել է հանձնարարական, որը ես գտել եմ, որ չպետք է կատարեմ»։

Համբարձումյանը հրաժարվեց մանրամասներ ներկայացնելուց՝ խոստանալով, որ ասուլիսին շատ հարցերի պատասխաններ կտա։
