ABS–ը լավ բան է, բայց հույսներդ միայն դրա վրա չդնեք

Մենք գիտենք, որ...

Եթե ավտոմեքենան ունի հակաշրջափակիչ արգելակային համակարգ (ABS համակարգ) ապա արգելակման ուղին կրճատվում է, այսինքն՝ ավտոմեքենան ավելի շուտ է կանգ առնում:

Իրականում այդպես չէ:

Հակաշրջափակիչ արգելակային համակարգով կամ արգելակային հակաբլոկավորման համակարգով (Anti–lock braking system կամ ABS) օժտված ավտոմեքենաների արգելակման ուղին նույնիսկ մեծանում է: Արգելակման համակարգը ավտոմեքենայի արագության փոփոխությունն է, որը օգտագործում է ճանապարհի և անվադողի միջև եղած արգելակման ուժը: Արգելակման ուժը կարող է առաջանալ առջևի արգելակման մեխանիզմի կամ ավտոմեքենայի շարժիչի աշխատանքի շնորհիվ: ABS–ը արգելակման ժամանակ տրանսպորտային միջոցի անիվների բլոկավորումը կանխարգելող համակարգ է, որի հիմնական իմաստն այն է, որ կանխարգելի կտրուկ արգելակման դեպքում մեքենայի անկառավարելիությունը և սահքը։ Ներկայումս հակաբլոկավորման համակարգը հանդիսանում է բավականին բարդ արգելակման էլեկտրոնային համակարգի մաս, որն իր մեջ ներառում է հակատեղապտույտային համակարգ, կայունության էլեկտրոնային հսկման համակարգ, ինչպես նաև արագ արգելակման դեպքում՝ օգնության համակարգ։ 2008 թվականի տվյալներով, այս համակարգն ունի աշխարհում արտադրվող ավտոմեքենաների 75 տոկոսը: Ավելի պարզ ասած՝ ABS համակարգը թույլ է տալիս վարորդին պահպանել ավտոմեքենայի նկատմամբ հսկողությունը կտրուկ արգելակման ժամանակ, այսինքն՝ անգամ արգելակված ժամանակ հնարավոր է մանևր կատարել: Վարպետ վարորդը կարող է այդ ամենը անել նաև առանց այդ համակարգի, հարցն այն է, որ որոշ դեպքերում կտրուկ արգելակելը, կամ էլ արգելակելուց հետո արգելակը բաց չթողնելը սխալ է: Ոչ փորձառու վարորդի համար այս համակարգը շատ արդյունավետ է, քանի որ նա վտանգավոր իրադրությունում բնազդորեն մինչև վերջ սեղմում և պահում է արգելակի ոտնակը: Որոշ դեպքերում ABS համակարգը երկարեցնում է արգելակման ուղին: Օրինակ, եթե անվադողերի շփման էֆեկտիվությունը ծածկույթի հետ ցածր է (օրինակ, ձմռանը ամառային անվադողեր օգտագործելիս), կամ էլ փխրուն մակերևույթների (ձյուն, ավազ, հող) առկայության դեպքում: Այդ իսկ պատճառով որոշ ավտոմեքենաների վրա ABS համակարգը կարելի է անջատել հատուկ անջատիչով, առավել ժամանակակից մոդելներում այդ ամենը կատարում է համակարգիչը:

Այս ամենը, իհարկե, ճիշտ է, բայց կարևոր է հիշել մեկ այլ կարևոր հանգամանք: Հնարավոր վթարից խուսափելու համար կարևոր է, որ մեքենան ունենա նորմալ արգելակման համակարգեր, ABS համակարգ, նոր անվադողեր, վարպետ վարորդ և այլն, բայց արգելակման ուղին կարճացնելու ամենակարևոր և որոշիչ գործոնն, անշուշտ, միշտ էլ արագությունն է: Ես արագաչափ չեմ, որ պարտադրեմ վարորդին չգերազանցել արագությունը, բայց կարող եմ խորհուրդ տալ երբեք դա չանել՝ անգամ, եթե մոտակայքում արագաչափ չկա: Հա, մեկ էլ, ինչքան էլ «տոներն են մոտենում, տոներն են մոտենում», երբեք խմած մեքենա մի վարեք, տանը ձեզ սպասում են:
