Տղամարդը կարող է բազմաթիվ անգամներ խոստանալ հեռանալ կնոջից, եւ այնքան շատ ժամանակ է անցնում, որ սիրուհու համար ավելի ու ավելի դժվար է դառնում բաժանվել նման տղամարդուց: Իսկ եթե նա սիրահարված է, կարող է ընդհանրապես չցանկանալ բաժանվել, եթե նույնիսկ գիտի, որ անիմաստ եւ սխալ է շարունակել հարաբերությունները:
