В Армении восстановят мемориальные комплексы, посвященные памяти погибших в Великой Отечественной войне

По инициативе бизнесмена Мгера Аветисяна, в Армении восстановят мемориальные комплексы, посвященные памяти погибших в Великой Отечественной войне.

«Мы восстанавливаем около 900 мемориальных комплексов, посвященных памяти погибших в Великой Отечественной войне. 600 из них построены за счет государства, а свыше 300 построил народ», - заявил в беседе с корреспондентом Новости Армении – NEWS.am Мгер Аветисян.

По его словам, цель инициативы - сделать одну из важнейших страниц истории Армении доступной для молодого поколения и сделать все возможное, чтобы молодые люди узнали об участии и победе Армении в Великой Отечественной войне.

В рамках инициативы Мгер Аветисян с согласия Министерства образования, науки, культуры и спорта Армении объезжает все области страны, проводит инвентаризацию памятников и фиксирует, какие меры надо предпринять для их восстановления.

«Во многих деревнях мемориальные комплексы настолько ухоженные и содержатся в таком хорошем состоянии, что я просто удивлен. Честно говоря, не ожидал такого результата», - заключил предприниматель.
