Politico: пошлины США на импорт из ЕС могут достигнуть 20-25%

Американские пошлины на импорт из стран Евросоюза, которые администрация президента США Дональда Трампа может ввести 2 апреля, могут достигнуть 20-25%. Об этом сообщило европейское издание Politico со ссылкой на двух дипломатов ЕС.

По их словам, «размер пошлин может составить 20% или 25%». Politico отмечает, что новые тарифы для европейского импорта, по всей видимости, будут взиматься в виде фиксированного процента, рассчитанного исходя из торговых барьеров, установленных странами ЕС для американского экспорта.

Ранее Трамп объявил о намерении ввести ответные пошлины на импортные товары с 2 апреля. По его словам, Бразилия, Индия, Канада, Китай, Мексика и страны ЕС в среднем взимают с США гораздо более высокие пошлины, чем Соединенные Штаты с них.

10 февраля Трамп распорядился ввести пошлины на весь импорт стали и алюминия в размере 25%, решение вступило в силу 12 марта. На следующий день Трамп сообщил, что Вашингтон может ввести пошлины в размере 200% на поставки из стран Евросоюза алкогольных напитков, включая вина, если сообщество не отменит тарифы на американский виски. ЕС объявил о введении таких ограничений в качестве ответа на американские пошлины на алюминий и сталь из Европы.
