2024 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 31-ին զանգվածային լրատվության միջոցներում և սոցիալական հարթակներում տեղեկություններ են հրապարակվել առ այն, որ օպերատիվ տվյալների հիման վրա ապօրինի կերպով հրազեն պահելու կասկածանքով ձերբակալվել և Ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության ձերբակալվածների պահման վայր է տեղափոխվել 9 անձ:
 
«Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի հանձնարարությամբ՝ աշխատակազմում անմիջապես սկսվել է ուսումնասիրության ընթացակարգ:
Նույն օրը նշված անձանց ձերբակալման իրավական հիմնավորվածության և նախաձեռնված քրեական վարույթին առնչվող մի շարք հարցերի վերաբերյալ անհրաժեշտ պարզաբանումներ են պահանջվել ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունից:
