Գիտնականները Լուսնի վրա քարանձավ են հայտնաբերել

Գիտնականներն առաջին անգամ Լուսնի վրա քարանձավ են հայտնաբերել, որը տեսականորեն կարող է հրաշալի վայր լինել Երկրի բնական արբանյակի վրա ապագայում մարդկանց համար բնակելի բազա ստեղծելու համար, գրում է BBC-ին։

Իտալացի գիտնականների կողմից ռադարի միջոցով հայտնաբերված քարանձավի խորությունն առնվազն 100 մետր է: Այնուամենայնիվ, հետազոտողները ենթադրում են, որ դա ընդամենը մեկն է հարյուրավոր նմանատիպ քարանձավներից, որոնք թաքնված են Լուսնի «դեռևս չուսումնասիրված ստորգետնյա աշխարհում»։

Իտալական Տրենտոյի համալսարանի գիտնականներ Լորենցո Բրուզոնեն և Լեոնարդ Կարերը քարանձավը հայտնաբերել են Հանգստության ծով կոչվող հայտնի լուսնային շրջանի նկարներն ուսումնասիրելիս: Ի դեպ, այս հատվածը Երկրից կարելի է տեսնել անզեն աչքով, և հենց այնտեղ է, որ ամերիկյան «Ապոլոն 11» առաքելության տիեզերագնացները 1969 թվականին կատարել են պատմության մեջ առաջին վայրէջքը:

Քարանձավի մուտքը Լուսնի մակերեսին է, իսկ տակը ուղղահայաց պատեր և թեք ներքին տարածություն է։

Գիտնականները ենթադրում են, որ քարանձավը առաջացել է միլիոնավոր կամ նույնիսկ միլիարդավոր տարիներ առաջ, երբ տաք լավան շարժվում էր Լուսնի վրա. այն կարող էր նման թունել ստեղծել:

Աղբյուրը նկատում է, որ գիտնականները դեռ 50 տարի առաջ էին կասկածում, որ Լուսնի վրա քարանձավներ կան։ Բայց միայն 2010 թվականին է ՆԱՍԱ-ն՝ ամերիկյան օդատիեզերական գործակալությունը, Լուսնի ուղեծիր ուղարկել մի սարք, որը կոչվում էր Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, և այն ռադարի միջոցով ուսումնասիրել է այն վայրերը, որտեղ կարող էին գտնվել քարանձավների մուտքերը: Ստացված պատկերների վերլուծության արդյունքում այժմ կատարվել է վերը նշված բացահայտումը:

«Զարմանալի է։ Երբ նման բացահայտումներ ես անում, նայում ես ստացված լուսանկարներին և հասկանում, որ մարդկության պատմության մեջ առաջին մարդն ես, ով տեսել է դա»,- ասել է Կարերը։

Նա հավելել է, որ հետազոտության հեղինակներն անմիջապես հասկացել են, որ լուսնային քարանձավը կարող է լավ տեղ լինել տիեզերագնացների բազայի համար:

«Ի վերջո, կյանքը Երկրի վրա սկսվել է քարանձավներում, այնպես որ մարդիկ նույնպես կարող էին ապրել դրանցում Լուսնի վրա», - նշել է Կարերը:
