Սա միայն իմ հաղթանակը չէ․ սա մեր բոլորի ու մեր երկրի հաղթանակն է․ Արթուր Դավթյան

Մարմնամարզիկ Արթուր Դավթյանը 32-րդ ամառային Օլիմպիական խաղերի բրոնզե մեդալակիր դառնալուց հետո ArmSport-ի հետ զրույցում կիսվել է տպավորություններով․

«Հպարտություն եմ զգում․ շատ ուրախ եմ։ Շնորհակալ եմ բոլոր այն մարդկանց, ովքեր ինձ հետ աշխատել են, ովքեր սպասում էին այս մեդալին։ Փառք Աստծո՝ կարողացանք անել սա․ սա մեր մարզաձևի համար հաղթանակ է։ Սա միայն իմ հաղթանակը չէ, սա բոլորիս ու մեր երկրի հաղթանակն է։

Այս մեդալից հետո վերաբերմունքը կփոխվի՞ մեր մարզաձևի հանդեպ․ շատ մեդալներ ենք ունեցել ու ասել են՝ կփոխվի․ հուսամ՝ այս անգամ իսկապես կփոխվի։

Եթե անկեղծ, ես լիարժեք չարեցի իմ երկրորդ ցատկը, դուրս եկա գծերից, սխալ թույլ տվեցի։ Ես ինձ լավ էի զգում լավ էի պատրաստվել, պարզապես մի փոքր չստացվեց, ուսերս ետ գնաց։ Երեկվա մարզման ժամանակ էլ այդպես եղավ։ Փորձեցի մի փոքր հետ կանգնել, բայց փախավ․ սխալ թույլ տվեցի։ Լիարժեք ուրախ չեմ այս մեդալի համար։ Կարող էր ավելի բարձր հարկի մեդալ լինել։

Ո՞րն է լինելու հաջորդ նպատակս․ այս մեդալի գույնը փոխելը։ Մյուս անգամ այս ամեն ինչը հիշելու եմ ու վստահ եմ՝ նման սխալ այլևս թույլ չեմ տա»,- ասել է Արթուր Դավթյանը։

Հիշեցնենք՝ հենացատկի եզրափակչում Դավթյանը վաստակել է 14.733 միավոր (առաջին ցատկ՝ 14.800 միավոր, երկրորդ՝ 14.666)՝ գրանցելով երրորդ արդյունքը: Օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի կոչումը նվաճել է հարավկորեացի Սին Ջեհուանը (14.783 միավոր), իսկ արծաթե մեդալակիր է դարձել ռուս Դենիս Աբլյազինը (14.783 միավոր):

Այսպիսով, 41 տարի անց Հայաստանն Օլիմպիական խաղերում մարմնամարզությունից մրցանակակիր ունի. 1980 թվականի Մոսկվայի Օլիմպիական խաղերում չեմպիոն էր դարձել Էդուարդ Ազարյանը:
