Աղվան Չատինյանին Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացու կոչում շնորհվեց

Երևանի ավագանին որոշեց հայ լեռնագնաց, ՀՀ ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի վաստակավոր աշխատող, ՀԱՕԿ-ի պատվավոր անդամ, Հայաստանի ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի պետական ինստիտուտի պրոֆեսոր, ԽՍՀՄ «Պատվավոր լեռնափրկարար» Աղվան Չատինյանին 60 և ավել տարի մարզչամանկավարժական գործունեություն ծավալելու կապակցությամբ, լեռնագնացության զարգացման գործում ունեցած նշանակալի ավանդի և հայկական սպորտի զարգացմանն ուղղված բեղմնավոր գործունեության համար շնորհել «Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի» կոչում։

Հիմնավորման մեջ նշվում է, որ նոյեմբերի 20-ին լրանում է Աղվան Չատինյանի 94 ամյակը:

Վերջին վերելքն իրականացրել է 2001թվականին՝ բարձրանալով Արագածի Հյուսիսային գագաթ, որի ընթացքում լեռան գագաթին կանգնեցրել է խաչ քրիստոնեության 1700 ամյակի կապակցությամբ:

Աղվան Չատինյանը ունի հրատարակված մոտ 100 աշխատանք, որպես կասկադյոր մասնակցել է մի շարք գեղարվեստական ֆիլմերի, որոնցից հայտնի են «Անձամբ ճանաչում եմ», «Ուրվականները հեռանում են լեռներից», «Թռիչք անդունդի վրայով», «Սգավոր ձյունը», «Ուղղահայաց» փոխարինելով հանրաճանաչ դերասաններ Վլադիմիր Վիսոցկուն, Գուրգեն Թոնունցին և այլոց։
