Անգլիայի և «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդի» լեգենդ Ռունին ավարտեց կարիերան

2021 թվականի հունվարի 5-ին իր մասնագիտական կարիերան ավարտեց անգլիացի լեգենդար ֆուտբոլիստը, ով երկրի պատմության մեջ լավագույն հարձակվողներից մեկն է՝ Ուեյն Ռունին: Նա ռեկորդակիր է «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդի» թիմում խաղալիս խփած գոլերի թվով (253) և երկրորդը՝ Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայում խփած գոլերի թվով (208):

Ռունին իր կարիերան սկսել է «Էվերտոնում», ապա Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնատի վառ ելույթից հետո՝ 2004 թվականին, տեղափոխվել է «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդ»: Նա թիմում խաղացել է 13 տարի՝ դառնալով Անգլիայի հնգակի չեմպիոն, մեկական անգամ հաղթելով Չեմպիոնների լիգայում և Եվրոպայի լիգայում, ինչպես նաև մի շարք անձնական ձեռքբերումներ հաստատելով ու լիովին ձևավորվելով՝ որպես իր սերնդի ակնառու հարձակվող:

Կարիերայի ավարտին Ռունին վերադարձել է «Էվերտոն», սակայն մեկ տարի անց տեղափոխվել ամերիկյան «Դի Սի Յունայթեդ»: Թիմում մեկ ամբողջական մրցաշրջան խաղալուց հետո, նա վերադարձել է հայրենիք՝ այս անգամ ընդունելով «Դերբի Քաունթիի» առաջարկը, որտեղ մինչ վերջերս խաղացող մարզիչ էր:

Այժմ Ռունին ստորագրել է պայմանագիրը՝ որպես թիմի գլխավոր մարզիչ և հայտարարել իր՝ խաղացողի կարիերան ավարտելու մասին:
