Մասնագետները բացատրել են կորոնավիրուսի գլխավոր ախտանիշներից մեկի պատճառը

Հոտառության կորուստը COVID-19 վարակի միակ ակնհայտ ախտանիշն է համարվում: Լոնդոնի համալսարանի եւ Ռեդինգի համալսարանի մասնագետները փորձել են պարզել դրա պատճառը: Նրանց հետազոտության արդյունքները հրապարակվել են The Conversation պարբերականում:

Սկզբնապես համարվում էր, որ կորոնավիրուսը կարող է ոչնչացնել հոտառական նեյրոնները, ինչի պատճառով պացիենտը չի զգում սննդի հոտը: Սակայն հետագա հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ ACE2 ռեցեպտորները, որոնք օգտագործվում են կորոնավիրուսի փոխանցման համար, գտնվում են ոչ թե հոտառական նեյրոնների վրա, այլ դրանց աջակցող Sustentacular բջիջների վրա:

Ինչպես հայտնում է Lenta-ն, գիտնականները պարզել են, որ կորոնավիրուսը խոցում է այդ բջիջներն ու օրգանիզմի իմունային պատասխան առաջացնում, ինչը հրահրում է վարակված շրջանի բորբոքում եւ այտուց: Այդ պրոցեսների արդյունքում պացիենտը կորցնում է հոտառությունը: Հոտառությունը վերադառնում է ապաքինվելուց հետո: Որոշ դեպքերում վերականգնումը կարող է դանդաղ ընթանալ:

Նոր հետազոտության հեղինակները նշում են, որ դեպքերի մեծամասնությունում հոտառությունը կարգավորվում է այն բանից հետո, երբ օրգանիզմը հաղթում է կորոնավիրուսին: Իսկ հոտառության արագ վերականգնման համար մասնագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս ֆիզիոթերապիայի սեանսներ անցկացնել:
