Առաջին հայացքից այս 18-ամյա նուրբ աղջիկը անպաշտպան ու քնքուշ էակ է թվում, բայց միայն տեսեք, թե ինչերի է նա ընդունակ իրականում...

Այս նուրբ աղջնակը Յուսրա Մարդինին է՝ 18-ամյա սիրիացի լողորդուհին, ով իրեն է կապել գաղթյալների նավն ու երեք ժամ առանց դադարի լողացել է դեպի ափը՝ փրկելով 18 մարդու կյանք:

2015թ. Սիրիայում շարունակվող քաղաքացիական պատերազմի արդյունքում նրանց տունը ավերվել էր, և Յուրսան քրոջ հետ փախուստի է դիմել երկրից: Հասնելով Լիբանան, իսկ հետո Թուրքիա՝ նրանք որոշեցին մոտորանավակով ապօրինի ճանապարհով ներգաղթել Հունաստան:

Նավակի վրա կար 20 մարդ, այնինչ այն նախատեսված էր 7 մարդու համար:

Երբ նավակի շարժիչի աշխատանքը խափանվեց, ու այն սկսեց խորտակվել Էգեյան ծովում, փրկվելու շանս ունեին միայն Յուսրան ու իր քույրը, որովհետև նավակի վրա գտնվող 20 հոգուց միայն իրենք լողալ գիտեին: Աղջիկները որոշեցին անել այն, ինչը հետո պետք է հերոսություն կոչվեր:

Նրանք իրենց մարմիններին կապեցին նավակն ու սկսեցին լողալ՝ փրկելով 18 մարդու կյանք: Նրանք բարեհաջող հասան Լեսբոս կղզի ու փրկեցին բոլոր գաղթյալներին:
