Մայրը ջեռոցը դրեց 600 աստիճան ջերմաստիճանի տակ ու իր մեկ տարեկան դստերը փակեց այնտեղ. դեպքից անցել է 15 տարի (Ֆոտո)

2002 թ. Ռոբերտ Սմիթն իր 14 ամսական դստերը՝ Էշլիին, հայտնաբերել է միացված ջեռոցում: Փոքրիկի մայրը՝ Մելիսա Ռայթը, դատարկել է ջեռոցը, դրել 600 աստիճան ջերմաստիճանի տակ և իր աղջկան դրել այնտեղ:

Էշլին 3-րդ աստիճանի այրվածներ է ստացել և 10 տարում 28 վիրահատության է ենթարկվել: Հիմա Էշլին 15 տարեկան է, նա պատրաստվում է դպրոց գնալ: 2003 թ. Ռայթը դատապարտվել է 25 տարվա ազատազրկման:

 

Նա սկզբում հայտարարել է, որ Էշլին պատահաբար է ընկել իր ձեռքից, իսկ ջեռոցի դուռն ինքն իրեն է փակվել: Որոշ ժամանակ անց նա հայտարարել է, որ «ինքը ձայներ է լսել, որոնք իրեն հրամայել են փոքրիկին ջեռոցը դնել»:

Այս տարվա հուլիսին կինը խնդրել է վաղաժամ-պայմանական ազատվելու մասին, բայց նրան մերժել են:

 

Վաղաժամ ազատվելու մասին մյուս խնդրանքը նա կարող է հղել 2021 թ.: Էշլիի քույրը՝ Քորթնի Բրենսոնը, որն այդ ժամանակ 8 տարեկան է եղել, ևս խնդրել է մորը վաղաժամ ազատ արձակել:

Էշլին կտրականապես դեմ է վաղաժամ ազատմանը:

«Կարծում եմ՝ Մելիսան մի քանի տարի էլ պետք է բանտում մնա»,- հայտարարել է աղջիկը դատարանում:

 

«Ես մինչև հիմա չեմ վստահում նրան և վախենում եմ իմ անվտանգության համար: Երևի այն ցավը, որը ես ապրել եմ, չեմ ցանկանա նույնիսկ իմ ոխերիմ թշնամուն: Ես չեմ ատում Մելիսային, բայց չեմ էլ սիրում: Ես ներել եմ նրան»,- ասում է աղջիկը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ մայրը երբեք ներողություն չի խնդրել իր արածի համար:
