Մոտենալով մեր հյուրասենյակին, լսեցի կնոջս ախ ու վախի բացականչությունները: Դուռը բացելով նկատեցի Ռոբի կիսաբաց հետույքը, որի վրա սահում էին կնոջս նուրբ մատները.....

-Ալիկ, այսօր երեկոյան ընկերներով հանդիպում ենք ռեստորանում: Պատրաստվիր, կգամ քո հետևից, -հեռախոսով ինձ տեղեկացրեց մանկության մտերիմ ընկերս՝ Ռոբը:

-Անպայման կգամ, կսպասեմ քեզ, -պատասխանեցի:

Կնոջս տեղեկացրի իմ ուշ տուն վերադառնալու պատճառն ու ընկերոջս հետ գնացինք ռեստորան: Այնտեղ հանդիպեցի իմ մանկության մյուս ընկերներին, որոնց վաղուց չէի տեսել: Նոր էինք տեղավորվել սեղանի շուրջը, երբ Ռոբին զանգահարեցին: Նա խոսելով դուրս եկավ սենյակից և ետ գալով, հայացքն ինձ հառելով, հայտնեց, թե շտապ կանչեցին և ստիպված պետք է լքի մեզ որոշ ժամանակով:

-Ի՞նչ է եղել, -հարցրեցի:

-Երբ վերադառնամ, կպատմեմ.-ասաց նա ու շտապ դուրս եկավ:

Մեկ ժամ անցնելուց հետո, անհանգստացած, մի քանի անգամ զանգահարեցի Ռոբին, սակայն նրա հեռախոսն անհասանելի էր: Սկսեցի էլ ավելի անհանգստանալ: «Ի՞նչ կարող է պատահել» -մտածում էի: Նրանք բնակվոււմ էին մեր տան հարևանությամբ և ընտանիքներով մոտ էինք: Փորձեցի կնոջս զանգել և ինչ-որ բան տեղեկանալ, սակայն նա էլ չպատասխանեց: Կասկածն ընկավ մեջս և անմիջապես դուր եկա ռեստորանից: Նստելով պատահած տաքսին, տուն հասա: Դուռը բացելով հենց միջանցքում նկատեցի Ռոբի բաճկոնը: Իսկ մոտենալով մեր հյուրասենյակին, լսեցի կնոջս ախ ու վախի բաչականչությունները: Դուռը բացելով նկատեցի Ռոբի կիսաբաց հետույքը, որի վրա սահում էին կնոջս նուրբ մատները: Այնքան էին շտապել, որ Ռոբը չէր հասցրել նույնիսկ ջինսը հանել: Իմ սիրելի կնոջ հետ անում էր այն, ինչն ես երբեք չէի համաձայնվում անել:
«Ի՞նչ անեմ, -մտածեցի»: Ելքը գտնելով, ձեռքիս հեռախոսով լուսանկարեցի նրանց անառակաբարո գործողություններն ու դուրս գալով տնից, քայլերս ուղղեցի ընկերոջս տուն, համոզված լինելով, որ նրա կինը տանն է:
Ռոբի կինը, որ նոր էր դուրս եկել լոգարանից, անհանգստացած հարցրեց.
-Ալ, ի՞նչ է պատահել, դուք ռեստորանում չե՞ք:
-Ոչ, -ասացի, - ցույց տալով լուսանկարները, պատմեցի եղելությունը: Նա սկսեց լաց լինել ու փարվել ինձ: Ես էլ գիրկս առնելով, սկսեցի հանգստացնել:

-Լաց մի լինի, մենք էլ կարող ենք վրեժ լուծել այս ձևով, -և բաղնիքի խալաթը մի կողմ շպրտելով, տիրեցի նրան: Նա էլ տրվեց ինձ, թվում էր, թե վաղուց էր դրան սպասում:

Այդպես շարունակվեց մի քանի ամիս: Ձևացնում էինք, թե ոչինչ չի կատարվում, բայց իրականում գաղտնի հարաբերություններ էինք ունենում: Զգում էի, որ այլևս անհնար էր այդպես շարունակել, քանի որ չէի կարող առանց Ռոբի կնոջ հետ հարաբերություններ ունենալու, դիմանալ: Փաստորեն մենք սիրում էինք իրար և ժամանակն էր ամեն ինչ բացահայտել: Մի օր էլ, երբ բոլորս հավաքվել էինք, ամեն ինչ բացահայտեցի՝ցույց տալով լուսանկարները: Պարզվեց, որ նրանք էլ իրար են սիրում: Մեզ մնում էր բաժանվել և ամուսնանալ նրա հետ, ով ում սիրում է:
