Ստամբուլում արգելվել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի միջոցառում անցկացնել: Այս մասին հայտնում է Agos գործակալությունը:

Ապրիլի 24-ի հիշատակի միջոցառման կազմակերպիչների խումբը, որը նախորդ տարիներին 1915 թվականի ապրիլի 24-ի տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումներ էր կազմակերպում Թաքսիմում, Թյունելում և Շիշհանեում, դիմել էր Ստամբուլի նահանգապետարան՝ ուրբաթ օրը՝ ապրիլի 24-ին, ժամը 19:00-ին Քադըքյոյի «Սյուրեյա» օպերային թատրոնի դիմաց հիշատակի հավաք անցկացնելու թույլտվության համար: Նահանգապետարանը մերժել էր թույլտվությունը նաև նախորդ չորս տարիներին։ Այս տարվա ոգեկոչման միջոցառման համար ևս նահանգապետարանը թույլտվություն չի տվել։

Խումբը հանդես է եկել հետևյալ հայտարարությամբ.

«Ապրիլի 24-ի  հիշատակի միջոցառումը ժողովրդավարական իրավունք է: 2010 թվականից մինչև համավարակը մենք ապրիլի 24-ի հիշատակի միջոցառումներ ենք անցկացրել բազմաթիվ քաղաքներում, առաջին հերթին՝ Ստամբուլում, սակայն համավարակի սկզբից այս միջոցառումները սկսեցին արգելվել։ Այս տարի մենք մեր դիմումը ներկայացրինք Ստամբուլի նահանգապետարան՝ կապված ցեղասպանության հիշատակի միջոցառման հետ, և սկսեցինք աշխատել այն միջոցառման կազմակերպման ուղղությամբ, որտեղ սգալու էինք 1915-ին իրենց կյանքը կորցրածների հիշատակը և հնչեցնելու էինք հաշտեցման մեր կոչերը:

Նահանգապետարանն այս տարի ևս արգելել է մեր հիշատակի միջոցառումը։ Մենք չենք հրաժարվելու մեր պնդումից։ Ոչ մի բացատրություն չկա, թե ինչու են այն հիշատակի միջոցառումները, որոնք չորս-հինգ տարի առաջ տեղի էին ունենում քաղաքային հրապարակներում, այժմ արգելվում՝ առանց որևէ պատճառաբանության։

Ապրիլի 24-ի հիշատակի միջոցառումը թե՛ մեր հարգանքի տուրքն են սպանված հարյուր հազարավոր մարդկանց հիշատակին, թե՛ ապացույցն այն բանի, որ մենք չենք մոռացել նրանց, ովքեր պոկվել են իրենց ընտանիքներից, ընկերներից, աշխատանքից ու համայնքներից, և թե՛ ուղերձ են նրանց, ովքեր այսօր դեռ ողջ են:

Ժողովրդավարության զարգացման, համակեցության մշակույթի ձևավորման, բռնության և ատելության խոսքի նվազեցման ամենակարևոր քայլը ապրիլի 24-ին մեր կորցրածները՝ մարդկանց, արժեքներին, մշակույթը, ավանդույթները հիշելն է. ցույց տալը, որ մենք չենք մոռացել և առերեսվում ենք անցյալին: Մենք բողոքում ենք  հիշատակի միջոցառման արգելքի դեմ և կոչ ենք անում որոշում կայացնողներին վերանայել իրենց դիրքորոշումը»,- գրված է հաղորդագրության մեջ:

Հիշատակի միջոցառումներն անընդմեջ անցկացվել են 2010-ից 2019 թվականներին։ Սկզբնապես դրանք անցկացվում էին Թաքսիմ հրապարակում, ավելի ուշ՝ Թյունել հրապարակում, իսկ Շիշհանեում տեղի ունեցած վերջին միջոցառումներից հետո, համավարակի պատճառով, հրապարակներում այլևս որևէ ոգեկոչում թույլ չի տրվել: Այնուամենայնիվ, համավարակից ի վեր ոգեկոչման միջոցառումների համար ընդհանրապես թույլտվություն չի տրամադրվել:
