Ինդոնեզիայում 7,6 մագնիտուդ nւժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել

Հինգշաբթի օրը Ինդոնեզիայի Հյուսիսային Մոլուքյան ծովում 7,6 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել, որի հետևանքով զոհվել է մեկ մարդ, վնասվել են շինություններ և առաջացել են ցունամիի ալիքներ։ 

Ինդոնեզիայի օդերևութաբանական գործակալությունը հայտնել է, որ հինգ վայրում գրանցվել են ցունամիի ալիքներ, որոնցից ամենաբարձրը՝ 0,75 մետր, եղել է Հյուսիսային Սուլավեսիի Հյուսիսային Մինահասա շրջանում: Գրանցվել է նաև շուրջ 50 հետցնցում, որոնցից ամենահզորը եղել է 5,8 մագնիտուդով:

BMKG-ի ղեկավար Թեուկու Ֆայսալ Ֆաթանին սկզբում նշել էր, որ մոդելավորումը ցույց է տվել 0,5-ից 3 մետր բարձրությամբ ցունամիի հնարավորություն, սակայն հինգշաբթի առավոտյան գործակալությունը չեղարկեց ցունամիի նախազգուշացումը:

ԱՄՆ-ի ցունամիի նախազգուշացման մարմինները նույնպես սկզբում հայտարարել էին Ինդոնեզիայի, Ֆիլիպինների և Մալայզիայի ափերին վտանգավոր ցունամիների հավանականության մասին, բայց ավելի ուշ հանեցին վտանգի նախազգուշացումը:

Հյուսիսային Սուլավեսիի ոստիկանության պետի տեղակալ Ավի Սետիյոնոն լրագրողներին հայտնել է, որ Մանադո քաղաքում մեկ մարդ է զոհվել՝ տեղական մարզական մարմնի կողմից օգտագործվող շենքի մի մասի փլուզման հետևանքով:
