iPhone 18 Pro-ն և Pro Max-ը կունենան միայն eSIM

Apple-ը շարունակում է իր ընթացքը դեպի պրեմիում մոդելներում SIM քարտի ֆիզիկական բնիկներից ամբողջական հրաժարում։ Ըստ TechManiacs-ի և GF Securities-ի վերլուծաբան Ջեֆ Պուի թարմ տվյալների՝ iPhone 18 Pro-ն և iPhone 18 Pro Max-ը կթողարկվեն բացառապես eSIM տարբերակներով՝ առանց nano-SIM-ի սկուտեղի աշխարհի բոլոր տարածաշրջաններում։ «Ամերիկյան» և «գլոբալ» տարբերակների բաժանումն այլևս չի լինի։

Գլխավոր պատճառը՝ տեղը մարտկոցի համար

Կորպուսի ներսում տարածության ազատումը հիմնական շարժառիթն է։ Հեռացնելով SIM քարտի մեխանիկական բնիկը՝ ինժեներները լրացուցիչ միլիմետրեր են ստանում ավելի մեծ հզորությամբ մարտկոց տեղադրելու համար։ Ըստ լուրերի՝ iPhone 18 Pro Max-ը կստանա 5100–5200 մԱժ հզորությամբ մարտկոց, ինչը կդառնա iPhone-ի պատմության մեջ ամենամեծ ցուցանիշներից մեկը։ Սպասվում է, որ ինքնավարությունը կհասնի Apple-ի համար ռեկորդային արժեքների։

Ինչու՞ է Apple-ը գնում ֆիզիկական SIM-ից լիակատար հրաժարման

eSIM-ին անցումը սկսվել է դեռևս iPhone 14-ից (ԱՄՆ-ում), իսկ 2024–2025 թվականներին տարածվել է բազմաթիվ շուկաներում։ Այժմ ընկերությունը վճռական քայլ է անում՝ հրաժարվելով բնիկից միանգամից բոլոր տարածաշրջաններում։ Սա պարզեցնում է արտադրությունը, նվազեցնում հավաքման ծախսերը և ավելի շատ տեղ տալիս մարտկոցի, տեսախցիկների կամ այլ բաղադրիչների համար։ Ֆիզիկական SIM-երին սովոր օգտատերերի համար սա կարող է անհարմարություն առաջացնել, հատկապես այն երկրներ ճամփորդելիս, որտեղ eSIM ծածկույթը վատ է, կամ պահանջվում է օպերատորի արագ փոփոխություն։
