Vanity Fair-ը քննադատության թիրախ է դարձել՝ ամենամյա Հոլիվուդյան համարի շապիկին միայն տղամարդկանց ներկայացնելու համար

Vanity Fair ամսագիրը հակասական արձագանքներ է առաջացրել, երբ թողարկել է իր 32-րդ ամենամյա հատուկ համարը, որի շապիկին միայն տղամարդիկ էին, ըստ The Independent-ի։ Երեք շապիկներին ներկայացված էին դերասաններ՝ Ջերեմի Ալեն Ուայթը, A$AP Ռոքին, Գլեն Փաուելը, Լաքիթ Ստենֆիլդը, Քալում Թըրները, Ռիզ Ահմեդը, Ջոնաթան Բեյլին, Հարիս Դիկինսոնը, Էնդրյու Գարֆիլդը, Փոլ Մեսկալը, Մայքլ Բ. Ջորդանը և Օսթին Բատլերը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, ընթերցողները մեկ հարց ունեին. որտե՞ղ են կանայք։

«Որտե՞ղ են կանայք», - գրել է մեկ օգտատեր, մինչդեռ մեկ այլ օգտատեր ավելացրել է. «Հուսով եմ՝ Vanity Fair-ը նաև միայն կանանց համար թողարկում կանի»։

«Կարծում եմ՝ մենք արդեն բավականաչափ լսել ենք տղաների մասին», - կատակել է երրորդը՝ հղում անելով համարի վերնագրին՝ «Let’s hear it for the boys»։

Համարում նաև ներկայացված են յուրաքանչյուր դերասանի հետ հարցազրույցներ և տեսանյութեր, որտեղ նրանք միասին դիտում են YouTube-ը։

Vanity Fair-ի գլոբալ խմբագիր Մարկ Գուիդուզին բացատրել է, որ բացառապես տղամարդկանցից կազմված շապիկը մեկնաբանություն է Հոլիվուդի մասին։ «Vanity Fair-ի 32-րդ ամենամյա Հոլիվուդյան համարի այս երեք շապիկների դերասանները ներկայացնում են ինչ-որ այլ բան։ Նրանք վաղ կինոյի կուռքեր չեն՝ լիովին ձևավորված, բեմական անուններով և որևէ ստուդիայի ղեկավարի կողմից ներկված մազերով։ Նրանք նման չեն շքեղ սուպերհերոսների, նույնիսկ եթե երբեմն խաղում են նրանց էկրանին», - ասել է նա։

«Մեր նոր գլխավոր հերոսները շատ ավելի արմատական են՝ պարզապես մահկանացուներ։ Հաճախ բարի, երբեմն խոցելի, յուրաքանչյուրը արտասովոր. երբեք դերասանների սերունդ այդքան անկեղծ և մարդկային չի եղել։ Երբևէ մտածե՞լ եք, թե ինչի է վերածվում ձեր ինտերնետային ընկերը, երբ մեծանա։ Կինոաստղեր։ Նրանք լավ տղաներ են, ոչ թե ուժեղ կամ վատ տղաներ, և մենք սիրում ենք նրանց դրա համար»։

Vanity Fair-ի ամենամյա հոլիվուդյան համարը ավանդաբար մեծարում է կինոյի և հեռուստատեսության ծագող աստղերին, ինչպես նաև ռեժիսորներին։ Այն համարվում է մրցանակաբաշխությունների սեզոնի մեկնարկը, որն ավարտվում է Vanity Fair-ի ամենամյա «Օսկար» մրցանակաբաշխությամբ։

Առաջին շապիկը, 1995 թվականին, բացառապես կանանցից էր բաղկացած և ներառում էր Ջենիֆեր Ջեյսոն Լեյին, Ումա Թուրմանին, Նիկոլ Քիդմանին, Պատրիսիա Արքեթին, Լինդա Ֆիորենտինոյին, Գվինեթ Փելթրոուին, Սառա Ջեսիկա Փարքերին, Ջուլիան Մուրին, Անժելա Բասեթին և Սանդրա Բուլոքին։ Առաջին երեք համարների շապիկներին հերթագայել են բոլոր տղամարդիկ և բոլոր կանայք, որից հետո ամսագիրը անցել է խառը շապիկների։ Կանայք շապիկին հայտնվել են ընդամենը տասնմեկ անգամ։
