79-ամյա Շերը իր 39-ամյա ընկերոջ մասին. «Նա ասում է՝ դու ծերանում ես, բայց քո հոգին երիտասարդ է»

Լեգենդար երգչուհի Շերը, որը մայիսին դարձավ 79 տարեկան, խոստովանել է, որ ինքը չի հիանում իր տարիքով: CBS Mornings-ի եթերում նա լրագրող Գեյլ Քինգի հետ զրուցել է այն մասին, թե ինչպես է վերաբերվում ծերացմանը, և, ինչպես միշտ, նա խոսքերի մեջ ընտրություն չի կատարել։

Երբ 70-ամյա Քինգը նշել է, որ ինքը չի անհանգստանում ծերացման համար և հարցրել է երգչուհուն, թե արդյոք նա նույնն է զգում, Շերը առանց վարանելու պատասխանել է. «Ես ատում եմ դա: Ես տասը տարով մեծ եմ քեզանից, փոքրիկ»:

Երբ Քինգը փորձել է մխիթարել նրան «իմաստության և փորձի» խոսքերով, երգչուհին պարզապես կատակել է. «Ոչ, ես հիմար եմ: Իմաստնությունն իմ մեջ հաստատ չի ավելացել»:

Դրանից առաջ Շերը խոսել է իր 39-ամյա ընկերոջ՝ պրոդյուսեր Ալեքսանդր Էդվարդսի հետ իր հարաբերությունների մասին՝ ընդգծելով, որ տարիքային տարբերությունը իրենց համար խնդիր չէ: «Նա ասում է. «Դու մեծանում ես, բայց քո հոգին երիտասարդ է մնում»։ Մենք անընդհատ ծիծաղում ենք, և նա աներևակայելի տաղանդավոր է՝ իմ հանդիպած ամենատաղանդավոր մարդկանցից մեկը»։

Իրենց հարաբերությունների քննադատության վերաբերյալ երգչուհին պարզապես պատասխանում է. «Ինձ համար միևնույն է։ Մարդիկ չեն ապրում իմ կյանքով։ Ոչ ոք չգիտի, թե ինչ է կատարվում մեր միջև, և մենք պարզապես զվարճանում ենք»։

Հարցազրույցի վերջում Քինգը հիշեցրել է Շերին իր սեփական խոսքերը. այն ժամանակ 45-ամյա երգչուհին ասել էր, որ ցանկանում է «75 տարեկանում անել նույն բանը, ինչ հիմա անում է, և ես կարող եմ դա անել միայն այն դեպքում, եթե հոգ տանեմ իմ մասին»։

Դրան ի պատասխան արտիստը ժպիտով պատասխանել է. «Ես պարզապես չգիտեմ, թե ինչպես անել որևէ այլ բան։ Ես սիրում եմ այն, ինչ անում եմ»։
