«Մենք ընտրեցինք անկախությունը, գիտակցելով, որ Արցախի համար պատերազմ ու բազում նեղություններ են սպասվում»․ Չալաբյան

«Մենք ընտրեցինք անկախությունը, գիտակցելով, որ դիմացը Արցախի համար պատերազմ ու բազում նեղություններ են սպասվում, որ մեր վրա կախված է Թուրքիայի վերահաս ներխուժման վտանգը, որ անկախության ճանապարհը բազմաթիվ վտանգավոր շրջադարձներ կարող է ունենալ, սակայն ընտրեցինք՝ հավատալով հայի հավաքական ուժին ու մեր աստվածատուր առաքելությանը»։

«ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանն է այդ մասին գրել ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում։

Նրա խոսքով, ավելի քան երեք տասնամյակ անց, հետադարձ հայացքով, մենք կարող ենք արձանագրել, որ մեր անկախությունը դժվարին փորձություն դարձավ մեզ համար։

«Մի կողմից մենք կարողացանք կառուցել սեփական պետությունը, մյուս կողմից այն այսօր գտնվում է համարյա կաթվածահար վիճակում։ Մենք տառացիորեն հընթացս ստեղծեցինք մարտունակ ազգային բանակ և հաղթեցինք մեզ պարտադրված ծանր պատերազմում, բայց հետո թույլ տվեցինք, որ լճացումը, կոռուպցիան և ոչ կոմպետենտ կառավարումը այն ներսից թուլացնեն, և ի վերջո տանուլ տվեցինք հաջորդ պատերազմը։ Մենք կարողացանք ստեղծել նոր, մրցունակ տնտեսության հիմքերն, ի հեճուկս մեզ պարտադրված շրջափակման, բայց նրա բարիքներն այսօր վայելում է միայն հասարակության փոքր մասը։ Մենք ստեղծեցինք համաշխարհային մակարդակի կրթա-մշակութային հաստատություններ, սակայն կրթությունը և մշակույթը, որպես ամբողջություն մեր երկրում հետընթաց ապրեցին, անգրագիտությունը դարձավ համատարած»,- գրել է հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչը։

Նա նշել է, թե կարելի է փորձել այսօր մեղադրել առանձին անձանց, նախկին և ներկա իշխանություններին մեր առկա իրավիճակի մեջ, առավել ևս, որ յուրաքանչյուրն իր մեղքի բաժինն ունի՝ իրականությունը սակայն այն է, որ մեր դժվարությունների պատճառները շատ ավելի խորն են և համապարփակ։

«Պետականության երկարատև կորուստը, այնուհետև Ցեղասպանությունը և հայրենազրկումը, հայության ցրումը ողջ աշխարհով մեկ ստեղծել են մի իրավիճակ, երբ մենք մեր երկրին և անկախությանը լիարժեք տեր չենք կարողանում (և նաև հաճախ չենք ուզում) կանգնել։ Չենք կարողանում պայմանավորվել հանրային համակեցության տարրական կանոնների շուրջ, համագործակցության փոխարեն իրար հետ շարունակ թշնամություն ենք փնտրում, մեզ բաժին հասած խնդիրները տեղում լուծելու փոխարեն հաճախ նախընտրում ենք արտագաղթել և հեշտ կյանք որոնել օտար ափերում»,- գրել է Չալաբյանը և հավելել, թե մենք նույնիսկ չենք կարողանում պայմանավորվել, թե ինչն է մեզ համար կարևոր՝ անկախությունն ու մեր ազգային իրավունքների իրացո՞ւմը, թե՞ համեմատաբար կուշտ և ապահով կյանքը, թեկուզ և այլ երկրներում իրավազուրկ օտարականի կարգավիճակով։

«Եթե այսպես շարունակվի, անկախությունը մեզ համար կդառնա անտանելի բեռ, և ինչպես հարյուր տարի առաջ մենք նրանից հրաժարվեցինք՝ ի օգուտ համեմատաբար կուշտ և ապահով կյանքի Խորհրդային կայսրության կազմում, այնպես էլ դա կարող ենք անել արդեն իսկ տեսանելի ապագայում»,- նշել է նա։
