Միացյալ Նահանգներում պատրաստվում են թողարկել 1 դոլարանոց մետաղադրամներ՝ Թրամփի պատկերով

ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը քննարկում է նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի պատկերով նոր կոլեկցիոն 1 դոլարանոց մետաղադրամներ թողարկելու հնարավորությունը: Fox Business հեռուստաալիքի տվյալներով՝ այդ քայլը նախատեսված է Միացյալ Նահանգների հիմնադրման 250-ամյակի տոնակատարության շրջանակում:

Ըստ նախագծի՝ մետաղադրամին, ամենայն հավանականանությամբ կպատկերվի Դոնալդ Թրամփը՝ բարձրացված բռունցքով՝ ամերիկյան դրոշի հետնապատկերին: Այդ պատկերը հղում է 2024 թվականին նրա դեմ կատարված մահափորձից հետո արված լուսանկարին: Ֆինանսների նախարարությունը հաստատել է, որ չնայած վերջնական դիզայնը դեռևս հաստատված չէ, նախարարությունն ունի օրինական լիազորություններ նման առիթների համար կոլեկցիոն հուշադրամներ թողարկելու համար:

Մեկնաբանելով լուրը՝ Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Քերոլայն Լևիթն ասել է. «Օ՜, ես վստահ չեմ, թե նա [Թրամփը] տեսե՞լ է դա, բայց վստահ եմ, որ դա նրա սրտով կլինի»:

Հուշադրամների թողարկումը Միացյալ Նահանգներում վաղեմի ավանդույթ է: Պատմության մեջ ամենատարածված մետաղադրամը Ազատության արձանի պատկերով 1986 թվականին թողարկված մետաղադրամն էր, որը վաճառվել է գրեթե 15,5 միլիոն նմուշօրինակով: Հաջողություն են ունեցել նաև Ջորջ Վաշինգտոնի 250-ամյակին, 1984 թվականի Լոս Անջելեսում անցկացված ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերին և ԱՄՆ Սահմանադրության 200-ամյակին նվիրված հուշադրամների թողարկումները:
