Հռոմի պապը խստորեն քննադատել Է ԱՄՆ-ին՝ ներգաղթյալների նկատմամբ «անմարդկային» վերաբերմունքի համար

Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ը երեքշաբթի օրը ամենախիստ քննադատությունն է հնչեցրել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կոշտ ներգաղթային քաղաքականության հասցեին՝ հարցադրում անելով, թե արդյոք այն համապատասխանում է Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու աբորտների դեմ ուղղված ուսմունքներին, հայտնում է «Reuters»-ը։

«Ով էլ որ ասի, թե ես դեմ եմ աբորտներին, բայց համաձայն եմ Միացյալ Նահանգներում ներգաղթյալների նկատմամբ անմարդկային վերաբերմունքին, չգիտեմ՝ նա կյանքի կողմնակից է, թե ոչ», - լրագրողներին ասել է Պապը՝ Կաստել Գանդոլֆոյի իր նստավայրի դիմաց։

Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու այն դիրքորոշումը, որ կյանքը սուրբ է բեղմնավորումից մինչև բնական մահ ընկած հատվածում՝ այս 1․4 միլիարդ անդամ ունեցող դավանանքի ամենաուժեղ ուսմունքներից մեկն է:

ԱՄՆ-ից առաջին Հռոմի Պապը՝ Լևոնը պատասխանել է ամերիկացի լրագրողի հարցին, որը հետաքրքրված էր երկրի քաղաքականությամբ։ Սպիտակ տունը հայտարարել է, որ Թրամփը ընտրվել է իր բազմաթիվ խոստումների հիման վրա, այդ թվում՝ հանցագործ անօրինական ներգաղթյալների արտաքսման վերաբերյալ։

«Նա կատարում է ամերիկացի ժողովրդին տված իր խոստումը»,- հայտարարել է մամուլի քարտուղար Էբիգեյլ Ջեքսոնը։

Մայիսին՝ հանգուցյալ Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապին փոխարինելու համար ընտրված Լևոնը, ցուցադրել է շատ ավելի զուսպ վարվելաոճ, քան իր նախորդը, ով հաճախ էր քննադատում Թրամփի վարչակազմը։

Հռոմի պապին հարցրել են Չիկագոյի արքեպիսկոպոսության որոշման մասին՝ Իլինոյսի սենատոր Դիկ Դուրբինին պարգևատրելու վերաբերյալ, ով դեմոկրատ է և աջակցում է աբորտի իրավունքներին։
