Հանճարն իր ողջ պարզությամբ. այսօր Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանի ծննդյան օրն է

«Քսաներորդ դարի աստղագիտության մեջ տեղի է ունենում ահռելի հեղափոխություն, միգուցե իր կարեւորությամբ համեմատելի՝ կոպեռնիկոսյան հեղափոխության հետ»,– այսպես է նախորդ դարի գիտական մեծ շրջադարձի մասին ասել ականավոր հայ գիտնական, աստղաֆիզիկոս, Բյուրականի աստղադիտարանի հիմնադիր Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանը։ Այսօր նրա ծննդյան 117-ամյակն է։
«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը օրվա խորհրդով ներկայացնում է մեծ գիտնականի կյանքի եւ մասնագիտական ուղու կարեւոր հանգրվանները։

Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանը ծնվել է 1908 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 18-ին Թբիլիսիում։ Նրա հայրը՝ Համազասպ Համբարձումյանը, առաջինը նկատեց որդու բացառիկ հետաքրքրությունները թվաբանական հաշվարկների հանդեպ. երբ Վիկտորը ընդամենը 4 տարեկան էր, արդեն կարողանում էր հեշտությամբ բազմապատկել երկնիշ թվերը։ Թվերի աշխարհի հանդեպ սերն անմիջապես նրան տարավ դեպի աստղագիտություն, դեպի տիեզերքի անսահման հորիզոնները։ Չնայած հոր ցանկությանը՝ տեսնել որդուն մաթեմատիկոս, Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանը Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի (այն ժամանակ Լենինգրադի) համալսարանում ընտրեց աստղագիտությունը։

1934 թվականին նա իր հարազատ համալսարանում հիմնում է Խորհրդային Միությունում առաջին աստղաֆիզիկայի ամբիոնը եւ դառնում դրա վարիչը։ 31 տարեկանում ընտրվում է ԽՍՀՄ Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի թղթակից անդամ եւ նշանակվում Լենինգրադի պետական համալսարանի պրոռեկտոր՝ գիտական աշխատանքների գծով։

1943 թվականը նոր փուլ բացեց Համբարձումյանի կյանքում։ Նա ընտանիքով տեղափոխվեց Երեւան եւ նշանակվեց նորաստեղծ Հայաստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի փոխնախագահ։ 1946-ին նրա նախաձեռնությամբ հիմնադրվեց Բյուրականի աստղադիտարանը։ Մեկ տարի անց նա դառնում է Հայաստանի ԳԱԱ նախագահ եւ պաշտոնավարում մինչեւ 1993 թվականը։

1961-ին Համբարձումյանը ընտրվում է Միջազգային Աստղագիտական միության (ՄԱՄ) նախագահ եւ մեծ ջանքեր գործադրում դրա գործունեության բարելավման համար։ Չնայած իր նախագահությունը ավարտում է 1964-ին, արդեն 1968-ին ընտրվում է Գիտական միությունների միջազգային խորհրդի նախագահ։ Երկու տարի անց նրան վերընտրում են նույն պաշտոնում, ինչն աննախադեպ քայլ էր այդ հեղինակավոր կազմակերպության պատմության մեջ։

1994 թվականին անվանի գիտնականն արժանանում է Հայաստանի ազգային հերոսի բարձր կոչմանը։
Համբարձումյանի գիտական ժառանգությունը ընդգրկում է աստղային համակարգերի դինամիկայի, ֆիզիկայի, գալակտիկաների տիեզերածնության, ինչպես նաեւ մաթեմատիկական ֆիզիկայի հիմնարար հարցեր։ Նա հեղինակեց սկզբունքորեն նոր տիեզերածնական հայեցակարգ։

Գիտնականը իր գործունեության համար երկու անգամ արժանացել է Ստալինյան մրցանակի (1946, 1950), եղել է Սոցիալիստական աշխատանքի կրկնակի հերոս (1968, 1978), 1996-ին՝ Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս, ինչպես նաեւ արժանացել է Ռուսաստանի պետական մրցանակի եւ մի շարք ակադեմիական պարգեւների։

Ակադեմիկոս Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանը վախճանվեց 1996 թվականի օգոստոսի 12-ին Բյուրականում եւ թաղված է աստղադիտարանի մոտ՝ ընտանեկան գերեզմանատանը։

Այսօր էլ նրա անունը շարունակում է լինել Հայաստանի ճանաչման վառ խորհրդանիշներից։ 2009 թվականից ստեղծվել է Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանի անվան միջազգային մրցանակը, որն ամեն երկու տարին մեկ շնորհվում է աշխարհահռչակ գիտնականների՝ աստղագիտության բնագավառում բացառիկ ներդրման համար։
