ԱՄՆ-ում մեկնարկել է առաջին փորձնական լողացող արևային կայանի ծրագիրը

Կոլորադոյում ջրի վրա գործարկվել է ԱՄՆ-ում առաջին լողացող արևային էլեկտրակայանի ծրագիրը։ Այն մշակել է Noria Energy ընկերությունը։ 50 կՎտ հզորությամբ Aurea Solar կայանը կգործի Գոլդեն քաղաքում։

Այն կօգտագործի հետագծիչներ և էլեկտրաէներգիա կապահովի Ֆերմաունտ ջրամբարի տեղական ջրամատակարարման համակարգերի համար, որոնք պատկանում և կառավարվում են Consolidated Mutual Water Company (CMWC) ընկերության կողմից։ Համակարգը կառուցված է Noria-ի AquaPhi նոր տեխնոլոգիայով լողացող արևային էլեկտրակայանի հիման վրա։

Ի տարբերություն սովորական լողացող արևային վահանակների, որոնք ստատիկ են, AquaPhi կայանքները հետևում են արևի շարժմանը։ Այս հնարավորությունը մեծացնում է էներգիայի արտադրությունը 10-20%-ով։

AquaPhi-ն կարող է ավելացվել նոր ծրագրերում կամ օգտագործվել՝ արդիականացնելու առկա լողացող արևային էլեկտրակայանները։ Լողացող արևային էլեկտրակայանները գրավում են ուշադրությունը իրենց տնտեսական արդյունավետությամբ, իսկ ջրամատակարարման համակարգերի համար դրանք առաջարկում են կրկնակի առավելություն՝ մաքուր էներգիայի արտադրություն առկա ջրամբարների վրա և ջրի կորուստների կրճատում գոլորշիացման հետևանքով։
