Եվրոպացի առաջնորդները փոխել են մարտավարությունը՝ Թրամփի հետ «լեզու գտնելու» համար. Wall Street Journal

Վաշինգտոնում կայացած գագաթնաժողովը, որին մասնակցել են Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին, ինչպես նաև Գերմանիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Իտալիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Ֆինլանդիայի, Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի ղեկավարները, անցել է անսպասելիորեն բարեկամական մթնոլորտում: Wall Street Journal-ի տվյալներով՝ սա Եվրոպայի կողմից առևտրի և ռազմական ծախսերի հարցում լուրջ զիջումների, ինչպես նաև Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ գործ ունենալու նոր մարտավարության արդյունք էր:

Զելենսկին, իր հերթին, Թրամփին ցույց է տվել Ուկրաինայի քարտեզը՝ բացատրելով իրավիճակը ԱՄն նախագահի բիզնես փորձին մոտ լեզվով։ Եվրոպացի առաջնորդները Ռդ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի տարածքային պահանջները համեմատել են ամերիկյան նահանգների, այդ թվում՝ Ֆլորիդայի ենթադրական կորստի հետ։

Բացի այդ, եվրոպացի առաջնորդները փորձում են պահպանել անձնական կապերը նրա հետ։ Օրինակ՝ Ֆինլանդիայի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Ստուբը գոլֆ է խաղացել Թրամփի հետ, իսկ Իտալիայի վարչապետ Ջորջիա Մելոնին ընդգծում է իր գաղափարական մտերմությունը ամերիկացի նախագահի հետ։ Նման շփումները, ըստ WSJ-ի աղբյուրների, օգնում են եվրոպացիներին ամրապնդել Թրամփի վստահությունը։
