Իրան․ Թեհրանը զգուշավոր է հատկապես Սյունիքով անցնող միջանցքի վերաբերյալ, քանի որ այն կարող է փոխել տարածաշրջանային տարանցիկ հավասարակշռությունը և թուլացնել Իրանի հյուսիսային սահմանների ռազմավարական նշանակությունը։ Թեհրանից անգամ բացեիբաց սպառնալիքներ են հնչում այս նախագիծը կյանքի կոչելու դեպքում։
