Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի միջև համապարփակ ռազմավարական գործընկերության մասին պայմանագիրը չի ներառում փոխադարձ ռազմական օգնության մասին դրույթ։ Բացի այդ, Թեհրանը Մոսկվայից նման օգնություն չի խնդրել, РБК-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը։

«Նախագահ Պուտինը, լրատվական գործակալությունների ղեկավարների հետ զրույցում, պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե արդյոք Ռուսաստանը կօգնի Իրանին ռազմական առումով, ասել է, որ ռազմական առումով, նախ, Իրանը մեզանից օգնություն չի խնդրել, և երկրորդ, նույնիսկ Իրանի հետ մեր ունեցած համաձայնագրի համատեքստում նման իրավիճակներում ռազմական փոխօգնության մասին որևէ դրույթ չկա։ Նման դրույթ գոյություն չունի», - ընդգծել է Կրեմլի ներկայացուցիչը։

Սակայն ընդհանուր առմամբ, Ռուսաստանի աջակցությունն ակնհայտ է, նշել է Պեսկովը։

«Երբ սկսվեց այս հակամարտությունը, հրապարակվել Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության հայտարարությունը, որը դատապարտում էր Իսրայելի  գործողությունը, հարվածներ և արտահայտում մեր հստակ դիրքորոշումն առ այն, որ անհրաժեշտ է դադարեցնել հարվածները և անցնել բանակցությունների խաղաղ ընթացքի», - ընդգծել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղարը։

Պեսկովը նաև նշել է, որ Մոսկվան հայտարարել է իր պատրաստակամության մասին, անհրաժեշտության դեպքում, միջնորդական ծառայություններ մատուցել իրանա-իսրայելական հակամարտության կարգավորման գործում։

«Սա նախագահ Պուտինը նաև ասել է իր ամերիկացի գործընկերոջը՝  Թրամփին, և դա քննարկվել է նաև Պուտինի կողմից օրեր առաջ ունեցած հեռախոսազրույցներում՝ թե՛ վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի, թե՛ նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանի հետ», - պարզաբանել է մամուլի քարտուղարը։
