Մենք էլ՝ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների կողմնակիցները, պետք է իրար օգնենք, իրար թև ու թիկունք կանգնենք, մի բռունցք դառնանք, համախմբենք ողջ հայ ժողովրդին, որպեսզի Հայաստանը որպես անկախ և սուվերեն պետություն հարատևի․ Մհեր Ավետիսյան

Մհեր Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
 
Գյումրի քաղաքապետի ընտրությունների քարոզարշավի ընթացքում թեկնածուներից մեկը՝ Վարդան Ղուկասյանը, հանդես էր գալիս որպես հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների կողմնակից, և այսօր, ընտրվելով Գյումրիի քաղաքապետ, փաստորեն կարող ենք արձանագրել, որ Գյումրին ունի հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունները կարևորող, իսկ դա նշանակում է՝ Հայաստանի փրկության մասին մտածող քաղաքապետ։ Ես, շնորհավորելով պարոն Ղուկասյանին, ուզում եմ կոչ անել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունները կարևորող բոլոր անհատներին սատար կանգնել Գյումրիին, ինչը նշանակում է, որ Ռուսաստանում (և ոչ միայն) հարստացած հայ գործարարները կարող են ակտիվորեն ներդրումներ կատարել Գյումրիում, հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունները կարևորող անհատները կարող են իրենց նպաստը բերել Գյումրիի զարգացման գործին, որի արդյունքում մենք ցույց կտանք և Գյումրիի բնակիչներին, և Հայաստանի մյուս համայնքների բնակիչներին, որ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների կողմնակից քաղաքապետ-ղեկավար ունենալը, բացի այն, որ կարևոր է Հայաստանի անվտանգության և անկախության տեսանկյունից, նաև ձեռնտու է սեփական համայնքը զարգացնելու, բարգավաճեցնելու տեսանկյունից։
 
Ազգակիցներ ջան, առհասարակ, արևմտյան գրանտակերներից մեկ բան կա, որ մենք՝ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների կողմնակիցները, այսինքն՝ Հայաստանի փրկությամբ ու անկախությամբ մտահոգ մարդիկ, պետք է սովորենք. թե ինչպես են արևմտյան գրանտակերները բոլոր հարցերում մեկը մյուսին աջակցում, մեկը մյուսին թիկունք դառնում և, արդյունքում, ձևավորել են ճիշտ է՝ Հայաստանի պետական շահերի դեմ աշխատող, բայց ամեն դեպքում աշխատող կազմակերպված համակարգ։ Այդ նույն տրամաբանությամբ, մենք էլ՝ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների կողմնակիցները, պետք է իրար օգնենք, իրար թև ու թիկունք կանգնենք, մի բռունցք դառնանք, համախմբենք ողջ հայ ժողովրդին, որպեսզի Հայաստանը որպես անկախ և սուվերեն պետություն հարատևի:
