Արևային ֆերմաները վերածվում են արոտավայրերի. ԱՄՆ ֆերմերները շահույթ են գտնում ոչխարների արածեցման մեջ

Չադ Ռեյնսը որոշեց իր հողատարածքը վարձակալությամբ տալ հարևանին և փոխարենը սկսեց ոչխարներին քշել արևային ֆերմաներ, որտեղ նրանք խոտ են արածում արևային պանելների շուրջը: Նման գործարքներն ավելի շահավետ են, քան բամբակի աճեցումը, քանի որ վերջինիս գները կտրուկ նվազել են, գրում է Pravda.ru–ն։

Պարտքի աճի և եկամուտների անկման պայմաններում են որոշ ֆերմերներ, ինչպիսիք են Ռեյնսը, սկսել ոչխարներ պահել այն հողատարածքներում, որտեղ տեղակայված են արևային էլեկտրակայանները: Դա օգնում է նրանց դիվերսիֆիկացնել իրենց եկամուտները գյուղատնտեսության ճգնաժամի պայմաններում: Ռեյնսն ասել է, որ եթե շարունակեր բամբակ աճեցնել, ապա կկորցներ մոտ 200 հազար դոլար, մինչդեռ արևային էներգիայի և գառան միս վաճառելու շնորհիվ նա վաստակել է մոտ 300 հազար դոլար, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։
