25 տարի առաջ այս օրը Ռուսաստանն առաջին անգամ նախագահ է ընտրել Պուտինին

25 տարի առաջ այս օրը՝ մարտի 26-ին, Ռուսաստանն առաջին անգամ նախագահ է ընտրել Վլադիմիր Պուտինին։ Նա այս պաշտոնը ստանձնել է մեծ քաղաքականություն մտնելուց ընդամենը մի քանի ամիս հետո, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

Այդ տարի  ՌԴ նախագահական ընտրությունները պետք է կայանային 2000 թվականի հուլիսի 9-ին, սակայն դրանից կես տարի առաջ՝ 1999 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 31-ին, այն ժամանակվա նախագահ Բորիս Ելցինը հայտարարեց իր հրաժարականի մասին։ Պետության ղեկավարի պարտականությունները դրվեցին վարչապետ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի վրա։ Ուստի նշանակվեցին արտահերթ ընտրություններ:

Ի սկզբանե 2000 թվականի ընտրությունների համար ՌԴ Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողով փաստաթղթեր էր ներկայացրել 33 թեկնածու, սակայն ստորագրահավաքից հետո մնացել էր ընդամենը 11 հոգի։ Արդեն քարոզարշավի մեկնարկին թիվ 1 թեկնածուն Պուտինն էր։ Նա հրաժարվել էր սովորական նախընտրական քարոզարշավից, ինչպես նաև հեռուստատեսային բանավեճերից՝ կենտրոնանալով շատ խիտ աշխատանքային գրաֆիկի վրա։ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը դարձել է Պուտինի շտաբի ղեկավար։ Արդյունքում՝ 68,7 տոկոս մասնակցությամբ Պուտինի օգտին քվեարկել է ընտրողների 52,9 տոկոսը։

2000 թվականի մայիսի 7-ին Վլադիմիր Պուտինը պաշտոնապես ստանձնեց նախագահի պաշտոնը։

26 марта 2000 г. в России прошли досрочные президентские выборы. На пост главы государства, который оставил Борис Ельцин, претендовали 11 человек. Уже в первом туре победу одержал исполняющий обязанности президента Владимир Путин, набравший 52,94% голосов избирателей. Как это было – в галерее «Ведомостей».

Путин объявил о решении баллотироваться 13 января – во время выступления на церемонии торжественного вручения мантии в Санкт-Петербургском государственном университете.

Главой штаба Владимира Путина стал замруководителя администрации президента Дмитрий Медведев. Также в него вошли замглавы ФСБ Виктор Черкесов, заместитель руководителя администрации президента Владислав Сурков и глава Центра стратегических разработок Герман Греф, один из руководителей Фонда эффективной политики Глеб Павловский и многие другие.

Активность избирателей в целом по стране составила 68,7%. В пятерку регионов с самой высокой явкой вошли Ингушетия (92,82%), Кабардино-Балкария (88,65%), Дагестан (83,69%), Татарстан (79,92%) и Башкирия (79,56%).
