Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոն կառավարության առաջ խնդիր է դրել որոնել հազվագյուտ հողային մետաղներ և այլ ռեսուրսներ հանրապետության ընդերքում:

«Ասում են՝ մենք ունենք հազվագյուտ հանքանյութեր, պետք է ուսումնասիրենք ամեն ինչը՝ քիմիա, նավթ, գազ և այլն», - ասել է Լուկաշենկոն՝ կառավարությունում կադրային նշանակումների ժամանակ։

Ինչպես հաղորդում է ԲելՏԱ գործակալությունը, նախագահը երկրաբանական հետախուզության ոլորտը որակել է երկրում անբավարար զարգացած, իսկ հազվագյուտ հողային մետաղների որոնումների թեման, նրա կարծիքով, դուրս է մնում մասնագետների տեսադաշտից։

«Հազվագյուտ հողային մետաղների մասին խոսում է միայն ԱՄՆ նախագահ  Թրամփի: Դուք դեռ չեք մտածել այդ մասին: Ընդերքում դրանք երբեք շատ չեն լինում։ Միգուցե մենք էլ ուրիշներից պակաս չունենք», - նշել է Լուկաշենկոն։

Այս առնչությամբ նա բնական պաշարների և շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության նախարարին հանձնարարել է երկրաբանական հետախուզության գծով փոխվարչապետի հետ միասին անդրադառնալ այս խնդրին։

«Սա է ապագան, մենք պետք է փորենք, պետք է նայենք, թե ինչ ունենք հողում», - ասել է Լուկաշենկոն:
