«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Սիրելի ընթերցող,

Արդեն 37–րդ անգամ քո սեղանին է դրվում «Փաստ» օրաթերթը: Օրաթերթ, որ, ի հեճուկս բոլոր կանխատեսումների, կարողացավ այս կարճ ժամանակահատվածում իր ուրույն տեղն զբաղեցնել լրատվական դաշտում: Անցնող տարին մեր երկրի համար բարդ էր ու ցնցումներով լի: Ապրիլյան պատերազմ ու «Սասնա ծռեր», Հռոմի պապի այցելություն և տոնական զորահանդես, նոր կառավարության ձևավորում ու նախընտրական թոհուբոհ: Մեկը մյուսին հաջորդող իրադարձությունների այս խառնարանում մենք փորձել ենք մեր ընթերցողին հրամցնել հավաստի ու ճշգրիտ տեղեկատվություն, տալ անաչառ վերլուծություն: Սրտացավությամբ ենք արձագանքել վատին, հպարտությամբ ենք փաստել լավը:
Նոր տարում մեր երկրին սպասում է լուրջ փորձություն: Ապրիլին տեղի են ունենալու խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ, որոնք ուղենշելու են առաջիկա տարիների մեր ընթացքը: Մեր ընթերցողներին ու մեզ բոլորիս մաղթում ենք, որ կարողանանք հաղթահարել մեր մեջ նստած վախն ու անտարբերությունը և երկրի վաղվա օրվա հանդեպ ունեցած պատասխանատվության գիտակցումով հիմքը դնենք մեր երազած Հայրենիքի: Հայաստանի, որի քաղաքացի լինելը ինքնին հպարտություն է: Հայաստանի, որ մեր օգնությամբ պետք է վերագտնի իր արժեքները, իր վաղվա հզոր օրվա տեսլականն ու առաջ ընթանալու իր կորովը:
Արդեն նոր տարում, 2017 թ. հունվարի 11–ից «Փաստ» օրաթերթը կրկին կողջունի քեզ, սիրելի ընթերցող: Ու քեզ հետ միասին կփորձի անցնել այս բարդ ու կարևոր ճանապարհը:
