Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ ակնկալում է, որ իր ամերիկացի գործընկեր Դոնալդ Թրամփը կկատարի Գազայի հատվածի կարգավորման վերաբերյալ իր նախընտրական խոստումները, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Մենք ակնկալում ենք, որ պարոն Թրամփը կկատարի ընտրություններից առաջ տված խոստումը, նա պետք է քայլեր ձեռնարկի խաղաղություն կառուցելու համար, ոչ թե նոր պատերազմ։ Գազայում իրավիճակը չափազանց զգայուն է և բարդ։ Այն, ինչ կատարվում է Գազայում, լուրջ մտահոգություններ է առաջացնում միջազգային իրավունքի և մարդու իրավունքների տեսանկյունից։ Արդար լուծում գտնելը միշտ պետք է լինի առաջին տեղում: Արդար մոտեցումը մեզ համար շատ կարևոր է Պաղեստինի ժողովրդի պաշտպանության և արդար լուծում գտնելու տեսանկյունից։ Թուրքիան միշտ պաշտպանել է Պաղեստինի իրավունքները և միջազգային ասպարեզում ուշադրություն է հրավիրել այս խնդրի վրա»,- ասիական շրջագայությունից վերադառնալուց հետո լրագրողներին ասել է Էրդողանը։
