Чехия заявила об избавлении от энергетической зависимости от России

Чешская Республика повысила свою энергетическую безопасность, завершив проект, направленный на прекращение зависимости страны от поставок нефти из России, заявило правительство страны, передает Associated Press.

Ранее Чехия получала около половины своей нефти, или 4 миллиона тонн, по трубопроводу «Дружба» из России.

Премьер-министр Петр Фиала заявил, что в российском импорте больше нет необходимости, поскольку страна «может получать всю свою нефть с Запада».

Чехи инвестировали более 1,5 миллиарда чешских крон (61 миллион долларов) в удвоение пропускной способности итальянского трубопровода TAL до 8 миллионов метрических тонн в год. Ответвление трубопровода, которое проходит через Германию под названием IKL, обслуживает Чешскую Республику.

Импортируемый объем нефти полностью покроет потребности страны. Министр финансов Збынек Станюра заявил, что нефтеперерабатывающий завод Orlen Unipetrol больше не планирует импортировать российскую нефть, начиная со второй половины текущего года.

Чехия, Словакия и Венгрия - единственные страны - члены Европейского союза, которые по-прежнему получают нефть из России. Однако Чешская Республика уже прекратила импорт российского газа в начале этого года.  Остальные 24 страны ЕС прекратили закупать российскую нефть в рамках санкций ЕС после вторжения России в Украину в 2022 году.
