Բրիտանիան իր զինվորականներին չի ուղարկի Ուկրաինա. արտգործնախարար

Մեծ Բրիտանիան մտադիր չէ իր զինծառայողներին ուղարկել Ուկրաինա մարտական գործողություններին մասնակցելու համար: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արտգործնախարար Դեյվիդ Լեմին իտալական La Repubblica պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում։

«Մենք շատ հստակ ասել ենք, որ պատրաստ ենք և շարունակում ենք աջակցել ուկրաինացիներին հատկապես վերապատրաստման հարցում։ Սակայն վաղուց մեր դիրքորոշումն այն է, որ մենք բրիտանական զորքեր չենք ուղարկի գործողությունների թատերաբեմ», - ասել է Լեմին։

Նա հավելել է, որ միևնույն ժամանակ Լոնդոնը շարունակում է Կիևին աջակցել՝ ինչպես վերապատրաստելով զինվորներին, այնպես էլ ռազմական օգնություն տրամադրելով, և դա կանի այնքան, որքան դրա կարիքը լինի։ 

Ավելի վաղ ֆրանսիական Le Monde պարբերականը հայտնել էր, որ Ֆրանսիան և Մեծ Բրիտանիան վերսկսել են Ուկրաինա արևմտյան զորքերի հնարավոր ուղարկման շուրջ քննարկումները։ Հրապարակման համաձայն՝ «հաշվի առնելով Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ Սպիտակ տուն վերադառնալու առնչությամբ Ուկրաինային ԱՄՆ-ի աջակցությունը դադարեցնելու հեռանկարը, Փարիզն ու Լոնդոնը չեն բացառում, որ կգլխավորեն Ուկրաինայի հարցով կոալիցիան այն պայմաններով, որոնք դեռ պետք է որոշվեն»: Հրատարակության տեղեկատվությամբ՝ դա քննարկվել է նոյեմբերի 11-ին Փարիզում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Քիր Սթարմերի և Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի հանդիպման ժամանակ։
