Իրանը մի քանի տարբերակ է պատրաստել Իսրայելի հարվածին պատասխանելու համար. NYT

Իսրայելի հնարավոր հարվածին Իրանի արձագանքը կախված կլինի դրա լրջությունից, այս մասին, Euromedia24.com-ի փոխանցմամբ, հաղորդում է The New York Times-ը՝ վկայակոչելով իրազեկ աղբյուրների։

 
Իրանցի չորս պաշտոնյաների խոսքով՝ Իրանի գերագույն առաջնորդ այաթոլլա Ալի Խամենեին զինվորականներին կարգադրել է բազմաթիվ ռազմական պլաններ մշակել Իսրայելի հարձակմանը պատասխանելու համար:Հրատարակության զրուցակիցները նշել են, որ իրանական պատասխանի մասշտաբները մեծապես կախված կլինեն իսրայելական գրոհների լրջությունից։
 
Այսպես, եթե Իսրայելը սահմանափակի իր գրոհները մի քանի ռազմակայաններով և պահեստներով, որոնցում պահվում են հրթիռներ և անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր, ապա Իրանը կարող է ոչինչ չձեռնարկել, հայտնել են աղբյուրները:Բայց եթե իսրայելական հարվածը զգալի վնաս պատճառի և հանգեցնի բազմաթիվ զոհերի, ապա Իրանը պատասխան միջոցներ կձեռնարկի:
 
Թեհրանը նաև կպատասխանի, եթե Իսրայելը հարված հասցնի նավթային և էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքներին կամ միջուկային օբյեկտներին, ինչպես նաև՝ եթե սպանի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների:
 
Հոկտեմբերի 23-ին Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը Կազանում ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում հայտարարել է, որ ձգտում է խաղաղություն հաստատել Մերձավոր Արևելքում, սակայն ընդգծել է, որ Իրանի դեմ Իսրայելի ցանկացած գործողություն կհանգեցնի «վճռական և աներևակայելի պատասխանի»:
