Տեխասում բացվեց ԱՄՆ-ի խոշորագույն արևային նախագծերից մեկը

Հոկտեմբերի 18-ին Տեխասում բացվեց ԱՄՆ-ի խոշորագույն արևային նախագծերից մեկը՝ կապված արևային էլեկտրաէներգիայի ամենախոշոր գնումներից մեկի հետ: Google ընկերությունը գնում է վերականգնվող էներգիա։ Ընկերությունը պլանավորում է մինչև 2040 թվականն ամբողջ աշխարհում ծախսել 16 միլիարդ դոլար մաքուր էներգիայի ձեռքբերման համար:

ԱՄՆ էներգետիկայի նախարար Ջեննիֆեր Գրէնհոլմը նշել է, որ այս նախագիծը օրինակ է վարչակազմի ջանքերի՝ խթանելու արտադրողներին և մշակողներին տեղակայելու էներգետիկ նախագծեր ԱՄՆ-ում:

SB Energy ընկերությունը կառուցել է երեք արևային ֆերմա՝ «Orion Solar Belt», Բաքհոլթսում, Տեխաս նահանգում: Նրանց կարողություններն ապահովում են 875 մեգավատտ մաքուր էներգիա, ինչը համարժեք է միջին ատոմային էներգետիկ օբյեկտին:
