Կանադայում ադամանդի ամենամեծ հանքերից մեկը սկսել է արտադրել 4,2 մլն կՎտ մաքուր էներգիա

Կանադայում ադամանդի հանքը սկսել է մաքուր էներգիա արտադրել, հաշվի առնելով այն, որ հանքարդյունաբերությունը մեծացնում է ածխածնի արտանետումները ամբողջ աշխարհում: Դրա շնորհիվ նաև կրճատվում են ածխածնի արտանետումները, ինչի արդյունքում հանքարդյունաբերությունը կարողանում է անցնել մաքուր էներգիայի, գրում է Interesting Engineering-ը, գրում է unian.net-ը։ Ներկայումս Rio Tinto հանքարդյունաբերական ընկերությունը օգտագործում է արևային էլեկտրակայան իր «Դայավիկ» ադամանդի հանքում մաքուր էներգիա արտադրելու համար: Հրատարակությունը նշել է, որ այդ նախագիծը Կանադայի ամենամեծ ինքնավար արևային էլեկտրակայանն է։ Հաստատությունը կնվազեցնի «Դայավիկ»-ի դիզելային վառելիքի սպառումը տարեկան մեկ միլիոն լիտրով, իսկ կայանը կկարողանա տարեկան արտադրել 4,2 միլիոն կվտ/ժ արևային էներգիա։

Բացի այդ, հանքը կնվազեցնի ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները 2900 տոննա CO2-ով, ինչը համարժեք է ամեն տարի 630 ավտոմեքենա ճանապարհից հեռացնելուն:

«Այդ քայլը կատարվել է «Դայավիկ»-ի հանքավայրի շահագործման ավարտից առաջ, ադամանդի արդյունահանումը պետք է ավարտվի 2026 թվականի վերջին, ապա պետք է լինի հանքավայրի փակումը, որը կպահանջի մոտ երեք տարի: Արևային էլեկտրակայանը կապահովի հանքի փակման աշխատանքների էլեկտրաէներգիայի պահանջի մինչև 25%-ը էներգիա ստանալով արևի լույսից, ինչպես նաև ձյունից արտացոլված լույսից»,- ասված է ընկերության մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ։

Հանքավայրի գլխավոր գործառնական տնօրեն Մեթյու Բրինն էլ ասել է, որ Կանադայի հյուսիսում ցանցից դուրս գտնվող ամենամեծ արևային էլեկտրակայանը ընկերության վերջին հանձնառությունն է ուղղված պաշտպանելու այն շրջակա միջավայրը, որտեղ մարդիկ ապրում և աշխատում են, և դա կբարելավի «Դայավիկ»-ի գործունեության էներգաարդյունավետությունը: «Մենք հպարտ ենք, որ գլխավորում ենք վերականգնվող էներգիայի խոշոր նախագծերը Կանադայի հյուսիսում», - հայտարարել է նա:
