Թուրքիան փորձում է օգտագործել ապօրինի ներգաղթը որպես ճնշման գործիք. Կիպրոսի պաշտպանության նախարար

Մենք հնարավորություն ունեինք քննարկելու վերջին զարգացումները Արևելյան Միջերկրական տարածաշրջանում: Այդ մասին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանի հետ համատեղ հայտարարության ժամանակ ասաց Կիպրոսի պաշտպանության նախարար Վասիլիս Պալմասը:

«Արևելյան Միջերկրականը մի տարածաշրջան է, որը լի է աշխարհաքաղաքական վայրիվերումներով: Միակողմանի գործողությունները, որոնք խախտում են միջազգային իրավունքը և ինքնիշխան իրավունքները, փաստացի, է՛լ ավելի են վատթարացնում իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում և խարխլում խաղաղությունը և կայունությունը տարածաշրջանում»,- նշեց նա:

«Կիպրոսը հաստատակամորեն աջակցում և սատարում է խաղաղ կարգավորումը բոլոր տարաձայնությունների միջազգային իրավունքի սկզբունքների հիման վրա և բարիդրացական հարաբերությունների սկզբունքի հիման վրա: Հավատում ենք, որ երկխոսությունը և փոխադարձ վստահության հարաբերությունները կարևոր գործիքակազմ են՝ հաստատելու Արևելյան Միջերկրականում երկարատև խաղաղություն և կայունություն:

Կիպրոսը՝ որպես կայունության հենասյուն, հանձնառու է է՛լ ավելի ամրապնդել խաղաղությունը և կայունությունը տարածաշրջանում, միևնույն ժամանակ այսօր հնարավորություն ունեի վերլուծելու Կիպրոսի ներդրումը խաղաղ բնակչության տարհանման գործողություններում, ինչպես նաև ստեղծելու ծովային ապահով միջանցք ծովի միջոցով դեպի Գազա մարդասիրական օգնություն տրամադրելու ուղղությամբ»,- ասաց Կիպրոսի պաշտպանության նախարարը:

Պալմասն անդրադարձավ նաև Կիպրոսի հիմնախնդրին և նշեց. «Ուզում եմ ևս մեկ անգամ կրկնել մեր երախտագիտությունը և շնորհակալություն հայտնել Հայաստանին աջակցության համար բոլոր միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային կազմակերպություններում՝ կարգավորելու Կիպրոսի հիմնախնդիրը ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ բանաձևերի հիման վրա: Այս շրջանակում ունեի հնարավորություն տեղեկացնել այն անվտանգային իրավիճակը, որն այսօր տիրում է Կիպրոսում, և Թուրքիայի ջանքերը, որը փորձում է օգտագործել ապօրինի ներգաղթը որպես ճնշման գործիք:

Վերջին տարիների ընթացքում Թուրքիան ունի հարձակողական հռետորաբանություն, սպառնում է փաստացի կայունությանը և անվտանգությանը Կիպրոսում և ողջ տարածաշրջանում՝ Արևելյան Միջերկրականում»,- ասաց նախարարը:

Կիպրոսի Հանրապետությունը կշարունակի իր արտաքին քաղաքականությունը թափանցիկ և բաց է՛լ ավելի սերտ և բազմակողմ համագործակցություններով, ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձևաչափով՝ հարգելով միշտ միջազգային իրավունքը և ՄԱԿ-ի կանոնադրությունը, Ծովի իրավունքը:
