Ճապոնացի երկրաշարժագետները նոր ավերիչ երկրաշարժ են կանխատեսում

Ճապոնացի փորձագետներն ասում են, որ երկիրը պետք է պատրաստվի հնարավոր «մեգաերկրաշարժին», որը մի օր կարող է հարյուր հազարավոր մարդկանց կյանք խլել, թեև նրանք շեշտում են, որ նախազգուշացումը չի նշանակում, որ հսկայական ցնցումներ են սպասվում:

Ճապոնիայի օդերևութաբանական ասոցիացիայի (JMA) նախազգուշացումն առաջինն էր՝ համաձայն նոր կանոնների, որոնք կազմվել էին 2011-ի երկրաշարժից, ցունամիից և միջուկային աղետից հետո, որի հետևանքով զոհվեց մոտ 18500 մարդ:

JMA-ի «մեգաերկրաշարժի նախազգուշացման» մեջ ասվում է, որ «եթե ապագայում մեծ երկրաշարժ տեղի ունենա, ուժեղ ցնցումներ և մեծ ցունամիներ կլինեն»:

«Հերթական հզոր երկրաշարժի հավանականությունը սովորականից ավելի մեծ է, բայց դա վկայում է այն մասին, որ մեծ երկրաշարժ անպայման տեղի կունենա», - ավելացրեց նա:

Առաջարկությունը վերաբերում է Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի երկու տեկտոնական թիթեղների միջև Nankai Trough «սուզման գոտուն», որտեղ նախկինում ուժեղ երկրաշարժեր են տեղի ունեցել։

Ճապոնիայի կառավարությունը ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ մոտ 70 տոկոս հավանականություն կա, որ հաջորդ 8-9 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժը կհարվածի Նանկայի՝ առաջիկա 30 տարվա ընթացքում:

Փորձագետները գնահատում են, որ վատագույն սցենարի դեպքում 300,000 մարդ կարող է մահանալ, իսկ որոշներն ասում, որ վնասը կարող է հասնել 13 տրիլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլարի, երբ ենթակառուցվածքները ոչնչացվեն:
