Հայաստանի համար շահեկան է դիտարկել ինտեգրումը ԲՐԻԿՍ-ին։ Այս մասին հայտնել է համաժողովի կազմկոմիտեի նախագահ, «Իմ երկիր, իմ Հայաստան» հասարակական-քաղաքական շարժման ղեկավար Մհեր Ավետիսյանը «ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի եւ ՇՀԿ-ի հետ Հայաստանի եւ ԵԱՏՄ-ի համագործակցության նոր հորիզոններ» միջազգային համաժողովի բացման ժամանակ, որն ընթանում է Երեւանում։

Ավետիսյանը ողջունել է համաժողովի մասնակիցներին եւ տեղեկացրել, որ համաժողովի նպատակը ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի մասին տեղեկացնելն է հանրությանն ու քաղաքական էլիտային, որպեսզի շահագրգռություն առաջանա։ Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Ռուսաստանը ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի հիմնադիրներից է, այս տարի կազմակերպությանը միացել է Իրանը, իսկ այդ երկու երկրների ներկայությունը արդեն պետք է շահագրգռություն առաջացնի Հայաստանի էլիտայում, որպեսզի ցանկություն ստեղծվի առաջիկայում դառնալու կազմակերպության անդամ։ Ավետիսյանը նշել է, որ ՀՀ ամենամեծ ապրանքաշրջանառությունը ՌԴ-ի հետ է։ Երկրորդ տեղում ԱՄԷ-ն է, հետո Չինաստանը, Հայաստանում քիչ է ներկայացված ԵՄ-ը։ Այս պարզ ցուցիչները նշում են, որ ՀՀ տնտեսական հարաբերությունները ԲՐԻԿՍ երկրների հետ շատ ավելի ակտիվ են, էլ չենք ասում անվտանգության մասին։ Ավետիսյանի խոսքով՝ տարօրինակ է, որ Հայաստաը ձգտում է դեպի Եվրոպա, ոչ թե ԲՐԻԿՍ, որի հետ կապված է տնտեսապես։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ ակնհայտ է, որ անգլոսաքսոնական աշխարհը պայքար է մղում ԲՐԻԿՍ երկրների հետ, բայց դա չի թուլացնում կազմակերպությունը, հակառակը։ Եթե ԱՄՆ-ը փորձում է կամք պարտադրել այնպիսի դաշնակիցների, ինչպիսին են Գերմանիան, Ֆրանսիան, Ճապոնիան, ԲՐԻԿՍ-ը չի պահանջում, որպեսզի անդամները գործեն ԱՄՆ-ի կամ անգլոսաքսոնական աշխարհի դեմ։ Իսկ Արեւմուտքը ընդունում է պատժամիջոցներ ոչ միայն ՌԴ-ի, այլեւ այն երկրների դեմ, որոնք տնտեսապես շահագրգռված են Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերություններով։

Նա հիշեցրել է, որ անգլոսաքսերը փորձել են երկար տարիներ համոզել, որ պետությունը չի միջամտում բիզնեսին։ Իրականում ամեն բան հակառակն է, անգամ սեփական բիզնեսի ներկայացուցիրչներից են պահանջում հեռանալ ՌԴ-ից, սա ակնհայտ հակասություն է բիզնեսի եւ քաղաքականության միջեւ։ «Մեկ օրինակ էլ։ ԲՐԻԿՍ երկրները խնդիր չունեն ստիպելու գործարարներին չաշխատել անգլոսաքսերի հետ»,- նշել է Ավետիսյանը։
