Բրազիլիայում շնաձկների օրգանիզմում կոկաին է հայտնաբերվել

Բրազիլիայի ափերի մոտ բռնված և թեստավորված շնաձկների օրգանիզմում կոկաին է հայտնաբերվել, ինչի մասին հայտնել են գիտնականները: Այս մասին գրում է bbc.com-ը:

Ծովային կենսաբանները Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյի մերձակայքի ափերից բռնված 13 բրազիլական սրածայր շնաձկան են թեստավորել և պարզել, որ դրանց օրգանիզմում՝ մկաններում և լյարդում, կոկաինի մակարդակը բարձր է:

Օսվալդո Քրուզ հիմնադրամի կողմից իրականացված հետազոտությունն առաջինն է, որի արդյունքում պարզվել է շնաձկների օրգանիզմում կոկաինի առկայությունը։

Փորձագետները կարծում են, որ կոկաինը ջրի մեջ է հայտնվում ապօրինի լաբորատորիաների միջոցով, որտեղ արտադրվում է թմրանյութը կամ թմրանյութ օգտագործողների արտաթորանքով: Հետազոտողները նշում են, որ կոկաինի փաթեթները, որոնք ծովն են նետվել թմրավաճառների կողմից, նույնպես կարող են պատճառ լինել:

Լեյրիայի Պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի ծովային և բնապահպանական գիտությունների կենտրոնի ծովային էկո-թունաբան Սառա Նովայսը Science ամսագրին ասել է, որ բացահայտումները «շատ կարևոր են և մտահոգիչ»:
