Ամերիկյան բանակի ներկայացուցիչ՝ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունում

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի քաղաքացիական անվտանգության, ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների հարցերով տեղակալ Ազրա Զեյան Երևանում հայտարարել է, թե ամերիկյան բանակի ներկայացուցիչ կաշխատի Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունում։ Նա՝ սա ողջունելի զարգացում է համարել՝  նաև ողջունելով Միացյալ Նահանգների և Հայաստանի միջև պաշտպանաքաղաքացիական և անվտանգային համագործակցության խորացումը։ «Սա ևս մատնանշում է հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններում նոր՝ ռազմավարական գործընկերության փուլ թևակոխելու պատմական փաստը», - ասել է Զեյան։

Հարցին, թե արդյո՞ք Հայաստանի՝ ՀԱՊԿ անդամակցությունը խոչընդոտ է հայ-ամերիկյան ռազմական համագործակցության խորացման համար, ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի տեղակալը պատասխանել է․

- «ՀԱՊԿ-ին Հայաստանի անդամակցության հարցը որոշում է բացառապես Հայաստանի կառավարությունը։ Մենք հարգում ենք այդ որոշումը։ Նշեմ, որ մեր համագործակցությունը պաշտպանական և քաղաքացիական անվտանգության հարցերում շարունակում է խորանալ, իսկ Հայաստանը մնում է ՀԱՊԿ-ի անդամ։ Երրորդ և վերջին դիտարկումս․ չկա որևէ փաստարկ, որ Ռուսաստանի ռազմական ներկայությունը նպաստում է Հարավային Կովկասում տարածաշրջանային խաղաղության և կայունության ապահովմանը»։

ՀՀ ՊՆ-ում որոշ ժամանակ առաջ ներկայացուցիչ նշանակել է նաև Ֆրանսիան, որը դարձել է Հայաստանի գլխավոր մատակարարներից մեկը։ Ներկայացուցիչը ռազմական կցորդ չէ։ Կցորդները նստում են դեսպանատանը, իսկ ներկայացուցիչներն անմիջականորեն մասնակցելու են զորքերի ուսուցմանն ու կառավարմանը։

Ըստ էության, Արևմուտքը, Հայաստանում ոտքը պնդացնելու գործողությունների համատեքստում, նաև փորձում է վերցնել ՀՀ ՊՆ կառավարումն իր ձեռքը՝ վերահսկելու բոլոր հոսքերը, Հայաստանն էլ վերջնական կախվածության մեջ գցելու համար։
