Առաջին սիլիցիումային արևային մարտկոցը դարձավ 70 տարեկան

1954 թվականի ապրիլի 25-ին ամերիկացի հետազոտողները ներկայացրել են առաջին արևային մարտկոցի նախատիպը։ Դրա արդյունավետությունն այն ժամանակ մոտ 6 % էր։ Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր շատ բան է տեղի ունեցել, և արևային էներգիան հասել է հանրաճանաչության գագաթնակետին, գրում է 3dnews.ru-ն:

Երբ այդ զարգացումը ցուցադրվեց 70 տարի առաջ, New York Times-ը չթաքցրեց իր ոգևորությունը. «Այդ գյուտը կարող է նշանավորել նոր դարաշրջանի սկիզբը՝ գրեթե անսահմանափակ արևային էներգիայի օգտագործումը մարդկային քաղաքակրթության կարիքների համար»: Բայց տասնամյակներ անցան, մինչև այդ ցանկությունը իրական գծեր ձեռք բերեց: Ֆոտովոլտայիների համաշխարհային աճը սկսվել է վերջին 10 տարում: Այսպիսով, եթե 2004 թվականին ամբողջ աշխարհում տեղադրվում էին 1 ԳՎտ ընդհանուր հզորությամբ արևային մարտկոցներ, ապա 2010 թվականին ամեն ամիս տեղադրվում էր ավելի քան 1 ԳՎտ մարտկոց, իսկ մինչև 2015 թվականը՝ տեմպերն աճել էին մինչև շաբաթական 1 ԳՎտ-ի, այժմ էլ այդ ցուցանիշը կազմում է օրական 1 ԳՎտ։ Ըստ գերմանական Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft ասոցիացիայի ընթացիկ տասնամյակի ընթացքում մենք կարող ենք ունենալ 1 տերավատ արևային հզորության տարեկան աճ:

Ավելի քան 70 տարի առաջ ամերիկացի գիտնականներ Դերիլ Չապինին, Ջերալդ Փիրսոնին և Կալվին Ֆուլերին ի սկզբանե հանձնարարվել էր ստեղծել հուսալի էներգիայի աղբյուր հեռավոր հեռախոսային համակարգերի համար, որոնց համար սովորական մարտկոցներն անարդյունավետ էին: Այդ ժամանակ արդեն ստեղծվել էին սելենից պատրաստված արևային մարտկոցներ, սակայն դրանց արդյունավետությունը չափազանց ցածր էր գործնական օգտագործման համար։ Գիտնականների երկարամյա աշխատանքը հանգեցրեց առաջին սիլիկոնային արևային մարտկոցի ստեղծմանը, որը հարմար է օգտագործել որպես արևային մոդուլի մաս: Այն ստեղծվել է 1954 թվականի ապրիլի 25-ին։ Այն ժամանակ հայտարարված արդյունավետությունը ընդամենը 6% էր։ Այսօր սիլիկոնային բջիջի արդյունավետությունը մոտ 25% է, ինչը հեռու չէ այս նյութի հնարավորության տեսական սահմանից: Սակայն նոր տեխնոլոգիաներն են փոխարինում նրան։ Օրինակ, ստեղծվել են պերովսկիտ և տանդեմ արևային մարտկոցներ։

Նույնիսկ այսօր, Bell Labs ընկերությունը, որն այն ժամանակ AT&T կորպորացիայի մաս էր կազմում, արևային մարտկոցն անվանել է իր «մեծագույն նորարարությունը»: Այն ստեղծող երեք գիտնականները հետմահու 2008 թվականին պարգևատրվել են իրենց գյուտի համար, նրանց անունները ներառվել են ԱՄՆ Ազգային գյուտարարների փառքի սրահում:
