ՀՀ-ում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպան Օլիվյե Դեկոտինյին X-ում կիսվել է Politico պարբերականի՝ երկրի արտադրած ռազմական տեխնիկայի վերաբերյալ ծավալուն հոդվածով՝  ընդգծելով, որ Ֆրանսիան ունի ռազմական տեխնիկա, որը բոլորն ուզում են ձեռք բերել, և Ֆրանսիան այն տրամադրում է Հայաստանին:

Politico-ն նշում է, որ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի ճնշման արդյունքում երկրի  պաշտպանական արտադրությունն ուժեղացվել է՝ ի պատասխան Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի և Եվրոպայի ռազմական ոլորտի արդիականացման անհրաժեշտության, ինչպես նաև ամբողջ աշխարհում պահանջարկի աճի ֆոնին:

Նշվում է, որ Փարիզից մոտ 50 կիլոմետր դեպի հարավ գտնվող գործարանը ցանկանում է կրկնապատկել Ֆրանսիայի ամենավաճառվող ռազմական սարքավորումներից մեկի՝ Thales ընկերության Ground Master օդային հսկողության ռադարների արտադրությունը, քանի որ դրանց պահանջարկը մեծ է:

Դրանք նախագծված են օդային սպառնալիքները՝ ռեակտիվ կործանիչներ, հրթիռներ և ուղղաթիռներ հայտնաբերելու համար: Դրանք նաև ունեն նոր հնարավորություններ, որոնք թույլ են տալիս տարբերակել անօդաչու թռչող սարքերը թռչուններից: 30 միլիոն եվրո արժողությամբ GM 400 Alpha-ն կարող է օբյեկտները տեսնել 500 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա: GM 200-ներն ունեն ավելի կարճ հեռահարություն՝ 250 կիլոմետրից մինչև 350 կիլոմետր:

Նշվում է, որ Thales ընկերությունը, որը համատեղ վերահսկվում է պետության և կործանիչներ արտադրող Dassault Aviation-ի կողմից, Եվրոպայում ռադարների արտադրության ոլորտի առաջատարն է և աշխարհում երրորդը ԱՄՆ-ի Lockheed Martin-ից և Raytheon-ից հետո:

Ներկայում ընկերությունը տարեկան արտադրում է 10 ռադար, սակայն թիրախը տարեկան 20-ից ավելի ցուցանիշին հասնելն է:

Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ Thales-ի օդային հսկողության ռադարները նաև հանդիսանում են նախկինում Ռուսաստանի տիրապետության տակ գտնվող երկրների հետ պաշտպանական կապերի խորացմանն ուղղված Ֆրանսիայի ջանքերի հիմնական բաղկացուցիչը:
