Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում օտարերկրյա պետությունների դեսպանները և ռուս ընդդիմադիր քաղաքական գործիչները վերջին հրաժեշտն են տվել ռուս ընդդիմադիր գործիչ Ալեքսեյ Նավալնիին: Հոգեհանգստի արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել մոսկովյան Մարյինո շրջանի եկեղեցում։

Ըստ meduza.io-ի՝ արարողությանը ներկա են եղել ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսին, Գերմանիայի դեսպան Ալեքսանդր Գրաֆ Լամբսդորֆը, Ֆրանսիայի դեսպան Պիեռ Լևին և ԵՄ մի շարք այլ երկրների դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցիչներ։

Ալեքսեյ Նավալնին մահացել է փետրվարի 16-ին Յամալ-Նենեցյան ինքնավար օկրուգի Խարպ գյուղի հատուկ ռեժիմի «Բևեռային գայլ» գաղութում։ Նրա մահվան մասին եզրակացության մեջ նշվում է, որ քաղաքական գործիչը մահացել է բնական մահով։ Այլ մանրամասներ չեն հաղորդվում։  Քաղաքական գործչի կողմնակիցները կարծում են, որ նա սպանվել է։ Քաղաքական գործչի այրին՝ Յուլիան, խոստացել է շարունակել ամուսնու աշխատանքը։
