Գիտնականները ապակին վերածում են արևային մարտկոցի օգտագործելով միայն լազեր

3dnews.ru-ն գրում է, որ Լոզանի պոլիտեխնիկական ֆեդերալ համալսարանի (EPFL) գիտնականները Տոկիոյի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտի գործընկերների հետ միասին զարմանալի երևույթ են հայտնաբերել։ Ֆեմտովայրկյանական լազերով տելուրիտային ապակու վրա կարճ ազդեցությունն  այն վերածել է լուսազգայուն կիսահաղորդչի: Այսպիսով, առանց հավելյալ նյութերի կամ ջանքերի հնարավոր է արտադրել լուսազգայուն ապակի, որը գիտնականները կատակով համեմատել են ալքիմիական հաջողություն։   «Ֆանտաստիկ է այն, որ ապակին վերածում ենք կիսահաղորդչի օգտագործելով լույսը, — ասել է հետազոտության համահեղինակ Իվ Բելուարդը,- ըստ էության, մենք մի նյութը փոխակերպում ենք այլ նյութի, միգուցե՞ մոտենում ենք ալքիմիկոսների երազանքին»։

Գիտնականներին հետաքրքրում էր տելուրիտային ապակու (TeO2) ատոմների վարքագիծը, երբ նրանք ենթարկվում էին բարձր էներգիայի լազերային ճառագայթման գերարագ իմպուլսների ազդեցությանը: Արդյունքում հայտնաբերեցին, որ լազերը ստեղծում է կիսահաղորդչային նյութերի մանր բյուրեղներ տելուրիում և տելուրիումի օքսիդ պարունակող ապակու հաստության այն կետում, որտեղ ճառագայթը հարվածում է: Դա նշանակում է, որ նման կերպ մշակված տարածքները կարող են էլեկտրաէներգիա արտադրել, երբ ենթարկվում են ցերեկային լույսի ազդեցությանը: «Այս տեխնոլոգիայի հետաքրքիր շրջադարձն այն է, որ գործընթացը չի պահանջում լրացուցիչ նյութեր: Ձեզ անհրաժեշտ է միայն տելուրիտային ապակի և ֆեմտովայրկյանական լազեր ակտիվ ֆոտոհաղորդիչ նյութ ստեղծելու համար»,- հավելել է գիտնականը:

Փորձի ընթացքում Ճապոնիայից ստացված տելուրիտային ապակու 1 սմ սկավառակի վրա լազերով փորագրվել է գծային նախշ: Լույսի՝ ուլտրամանուշակագույնից մինչև տեսանելի, ազդեցության տակ մշակված տարածքն առաջացրել է էլեկտրական հոսանք մնալով կայուն ամիսներով: Նման կերպ լույսի սենսորները և կիսահաղորդչային այլ սխեմաներ կարող են ստեղծվել ապակու վրա օգտագործելով միայն լազեր:

Այդ կառուցվածքը կարող է կիրառվել արդեն տեղադրված ապակու վրա այն վերածելով անհրաժեշտ ֆունկցիոնալությամբ խելացի ապակու։ Ճիշտ է, սովորական պատուհանի ապակին հարմար չէ դրա համար: Բայց եթե տեխնոլոգիան ընդունվի արտադրողների կողմից, դա կարող է հանգեցնել հեղափոխության ճարտարապետության մեջ:
