Ադրբեջանի հակահայ քաղաքականության ամենավառ դրսևորումը ադրբեջանական բանտերում պահվող հայ գերիներն են և նրանց դեմ տարվող ապօրինի գործողությունները

36 տարի առաջ այս օրերին Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանի Սումգայիթ քաղաքում տեղի ունեցան հայերի զանգվածային ջարդեր և բռնի տեղահանություն։ Դաժան սպանություններով, խոշտանգումներով, կողոպուտով և բռնարարությամբ ուղեկցվող կոտորածն իրականացվեց պետական մակարդակով՝ ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների թույլտվությամբ և հանձնարարականով։ Սումգայիթի ջարդերը մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություն էին, նպատակը՝ հայի բնաջնջումն էր, որն այդպես էլ չարժանացավ համապատասխան արձագանքի, չպատժվեց այն կազմակերպող ոճրագործներից և ոչ ոք։ Եվ դրա արդյունքում էր, որ Ադրբեջանն այս տարիների ընթացքում այդպես էլ չհրաժարվեց հայատյաց քաղաքականությունից։
2020թ․ պատերազմը, 2023թ․ Արցախի ամբողջական հայաթափումը հերթական անգամ ուղեկցվեց խաղաղ բնակչության սպանություններով, բռնություններով։ Այսօր էլ շարունակվում է Ադրբեջանի հակահայ քաղաքականությունը, որի ամենավառ դրսևորումը ադրբեջանական բանտերում պահվող հայ գերիներն են և նրանց դեմ տարվող ապօրինի գործողությունները։
Ամենաթողությունը, միջազգային հանրության լռությունը շարունակելու են մեծացնել Ադրբեջանի նման վարքագիծը, որի դեմ պայքարի միակ արդյունավետ միջոցը ուժեղ պետության կառուցումն է։
