Ես ԱՄՆ-ը վարչակազմից հավաստիացումներ եմ ստացել, որ նա շարունակելու է զգուշացնել Ադրբեջանին՝ զերծ մնալ Հայաստանի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններից․ սենատոր

Ես ստացել եմ ԱՄՆ վարչակազմի հավաստիացումներն այն մասին, որ վարչակազմը կշարունակի զգուշացնել Ադրբեջանին՝ զերծ մնալ Հայաստանի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններից։ Այս մասին նշվել է ԱՄՆ սենատոր Քրիս Վան Հոլենի պաշտոնական հայտարարությունում, որում նա պարզաբանել է, որ չի արգելի Թուրքիային F-16 կործանիչների վաճառքի հարցում։

«Չնայած Թուրքիայի կողմից  ՆԱՏՕ-ին Շվեդիայի անդամակցության վավերացումը երկար ժամանակ հետաձգվում էր, դա երկար սպասված քայլ է ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար։ Ես, սակայն, նախկինի պես լուրջ մտահոգություններ ունեմ մեր դաշնակիցների՝ սիրիական քրդերի վրա Էրդողանի շարունակվող հարձակումների առումով, նրա ագրեսիվ գործողություններով Արեւելյան Միջերկրածովում եւ այն դերով, որը նա խաղաց Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ռազմական հարձակումներին աջակցելով։ Ես երախտապարտ եմ Բայդենի վարչակազմին այն բանի համար, որ նա ժամանակ գտավ տեղեկացնել ինձ այս հարցերի վերաբերյալ եւ պատասխանել իմ հարցերին»,- նշվել է սենատորի հայտարարությունում։

Նրա խոսքով՝ չնայած ինքն ուրախ է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը դադարեցրել է ռազմական ինքնաթիռների ներխուժումը Հունաստանի օդային տարածք, ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը տեղեկացրել է, որ շարունակում է ուշադիր հետեւել այս հարցին, որպեսզի նպաստի Հունաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ շարունակվող երկխոսությանը։

«Բացի այդ, ես վարչակազմից հավաստիացումներ եմ ստացել այն մասին, որ նա շարունակելու է զգուշացնել Ադրբեջանին՝ զերծ մնալ Հայաստանի դեմ հետագա ռազմական գործողություններից, որ աշխատելու է Թուրքիայի հետ, որպեսզի կանխի այդ հակամարտության ցանկացած հետագա թեժացում։ Ես նախկինի պես խորապես անհանգստացած եմ Սիրիական դեմոկրատական ուժերի (SDF) դեմ Էրդողանի հարձակումներից Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արեւելքում, սակայն վարչակազմը ինձ հավաստիացրել է, որ շարունակում է վճռական առարկություն հայտնել այդ հարձակումների դեմ, ներառյալ սպառնալիքն ամերիկյան ուժերի համար, որոնք աշխատում են SDF-ի հետ, եւ հաստատել է իր անփոփոխ հավատարմությունն այդ կարեւոր գործընկերոջն աջակցելու հարցում, որը սուր նիզակ է ծառայում «Իսլամական պետության» ջախջախման գործում։ Վարչակազմն ինձ տեղեկացրել է, որ ավելի հստակ են տեղեկացնելու SDF-ին այդ հավատարմության մասին»,- նշել է Վան Հոլենը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ այդ հավաստիացումների հիման վրա ինքը չի ձգտի արգելել Թուրքիային F-16-ների վաճառքը՝ համատեղ բանաձեւ ներկայացնելու միջոցով։

«Բայց ես  կշարունակեմ մշտական կապ պահպանել վարչակազմի հետ այս կարեւոր հարցերի հավաստիացումների վերաբերյալ։ Ակնհայտ է, որ մենք պետք է ուշադիր հետեւենք Թուրքիային առաջիկա շաբաթներին եւ ամիսներին. գործողությունները խոսքից ավելիի մասին են վկայում»,- ավելացրել է նա։
